Sad to have to give a poor review. When we first started coming to this place, it was great, the service was a bit needed to be worked on a bit and there was a wait to get in on a Sunday. Today is Sunday and it is almost ghost town. The service is horrible, not that they are terrible people it’s just that the current employees on Sunday have a lot to learn about the customer service world like putting their cell phone down and paying attention to the customers and not making them wait to long. The food is still good but service has greatly declined. ?
Very good food. I had the spinach feta salad with almonds and fresh strawberries and blueberries in it, with a DELICIOUS vinegarette dressing. I added bacon for a 1.50 extra and it was a good amount for the amount. Hubby had BLT, which was great! HOWEVER, they use a spicy sauce instead of mayo, and we weren't aware of that, so it wasn't bad, but it was a warm surprise. Cute interior, awesome ornate gated patio/ courtyard area. Will go back.
Pretty disappointing experience. Our main complaint is the service. We were there over 15 minutes before we could get a drink order in. Waited 5 minutes after asking for cream for the coffee before getting up to find someone and ask for some. Two of the staff had earbuds in the whole time, while talking to customers. Might be easier to hear and remember things if you’re not listening to something else at the time.The food was mediocre. We had the breakfast burrito and a chicken salad sandwich. The breakfast burrito, which was advertised to have 3 eggs, probably had — not an exaggeration — 7 scrambled eggs in it, with like a couple tablespoons of onions and green peppers and a slice of cheddar cheese.Also, they were out of napkins which is pretty weird for a restaurant to not plan ahead enough to have napkins on a Sunday morning?After waiting for the check, I got up to ask for it, and one of the staff told me the meal was on her and she apologized, which was nice. As soon as we walked out though, a man (who wasn’t our waiter and we hadn’t interacted with at all) chased us down thinking we had dined and dashed, so that was a nice cherry on top.
Wide breakfast and lunch menu. Delicious chicken salad with a wonderful side of spicy (very) cabbage salad. Great homemade chocolate chip cookie to accompany excellent coffee. Excellent waiter as an added bonus.
The food and service were fabulous. Honestly what impressed me the most was when some other patrons were asking personal/invasive questions of one of the staff - she maintained her boundaries and handled it with grace and professionalism. She did such a fabulous job handling what was surely a difficult/uncomfortable situation. I will definitely be visiting again.
Cute little restaurant! The service was really good; we had our orders in really fast and drinks delivered quickly. The food is really good as well, no complaints all around. I’d give it a try!
The food was delicious. I ordered the sparagus, tomato and feta egg scramble. It was accompanied by wheat toast, fresh fruit and homemade strawberry jam. It was perfection.
Great little diner vibe. Not a huge breakfast menu but seemed to include some healthy options. They could definitely use some salt/pepper on their eggs. Decent place but not somewhere I would go a lot.
The food here is always great! I'd love to see Bickering Sisters hyping more local coffee from either Daily Rise or Grounds 25th or even Cafe Merc just off Harrison. Other than that, this restaurant has a great atmosphere✔️ is DOG FRIENDLY ✔️ and has great food! My partner and I had a very good chat with a down to earth server and she just made us feel at home. Side note: be nice to your servers! We sometimes forget that servers and cooks are humans also, not cogs in a great food printing machine. If you can't be nice, go home and make yourself and omelet. ? In the meantime, if you are nice and like good food, Bickering Sisters is quickly becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots in the city.
Very cute little restaurant. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was delicious. 10/10 will come here again.
