Your Customer service sucks!!! I pulled up to the drive through today. For a quick question, four employee saw and ignored me. I honked when the next person came to window still ignored me this happen like three times.. I couldn’t believe they were all ignoring me. I finally waved my arms and yelled hello multiple times which the lady could see me. It to her a few to respond to me and then she finally opened the window and asked if she could help me. Seriously! They weren’t even busy. Not one customer in drive through or restaurant but me. Unbelievable.

I gave them a few chances, but it's a very hard pass for me at this point. Every time I've gone, it's been a wait upwards of 45 minutes, with a couple times that I've just left after waiting that long. I've tried drive through, the park and order, and ordering in advance. I also made sure to wait at least a few months, sometimes a year each time (so I know this isn't a covid related issue), before going back. First time I went, they never even answered the drive through at all and I had to just leave. This most recent time, however, was honestly the last straw for me. After checking in for my mobile order, I waited more than 20 minutes, then pressed the button on the spot I was at, with no response. I pressed the button after waiting about 10-15 more minutes, and after waiting some more, went in and asked what was going on. They said they hadn't received my order, and went back and forth from the kitchen a few times without asking what the order was. Eventually, they gave me my food, but it was wrong. Not wrong as in completely different, but the right type of sandwich with the wrong meat and my onion rings were not fully cooked. I'm not a confrontational person, by any means, and try to be as understanding as possible. I'm not even the type of person to send food back when it's burned because my anxiety is so bad, but the whole situation was ridiculous enough that I had to pretty much beg for food I had already paid for. I know some people will say I should have gone in earlier, but I'm not joking when I say my anxiety is really bad. Everyone who knows me was extremely surprised I even worked up the courage to say anything at all. I hate being this person, but I would still rather go anywhere else for fast food, even with the bad fast food experiences I've had within a two block radius of this place.

We pulled in to a parking space and punched the button for service. We waited for about 15 minutes and they never answered the bell. This is the second time this had happened to us and we vowed never to come back, but we really wanted their hot dogs. One member of our group was not feeling well and we wanted to eat in the car so she wouldn't have to dress, and this is the only place where you can do this easily. When we finally gave up and left, we saw two employees sitting outside, smoking, and at least two employees inside, doing nothing. I swear, this is the last time. BTW, I know we could have gone through the drive through, but that would have put us back out on to the street instead of a nice, cozy parking space where we could eat. Never again.

Went during a really busy time (about an hour before close) but had no problem with waiting. The workers were young and super sweet. Good job to that night crew! They thanked me for my patience and sent me off with freshly made food.

The girl taking my order tonight was super rude and zero care about customer service. Told me I couldn't order a shake because " cookie dough doesnt belong in shakes " instead of telling me how to properly order the shake I wanted, she cowardly hid behind another employee as the other girl told me sorry for her. This stores crew has no care.

Do not bother getting any ice cream or shakes in the last 45 mins that they're open. I've gone to sonic several days within the last hour of them being open and every time I try to get a shake they say that the ice cream machine is "down" for the night. I know that just means that they've already cleaned it and don't want to bother serving it for the rest of the night. I always end up having to drive to McDonald's to get a mcflurry. Sonic, what's the point of being open late if you can't serve half your menu? Most of the people that come that late want ice cream and not dinner anyway....

It’s been a long day. I just wanted to enjoy some quick hot food. I ordered a chili cheese dog and some tots. Super simple. Anyway, so the car in front of me literally waited for their food for over 20 minutes. Not sure why. It was extremely slow. I roll up next to the first window to see 2 employees sitting on their phones doing absolutely nothing. After waiting around for 35 minutes, I finally get my food and it’s cold. The bread and the tots were both stale. So not only did I wait around for 35 minutes for two things, I WASTED 35 minutes of my life for cold stale food that wasn’t even worth it. Thanks sonic.

I just wanted to share some information. I work for another restaurant franchise and one of the girls I work with was bragging that she was trying to get her former manager fired by having all of her friends post fake reviews and call in complaints on the store she used to work at. She came in wearing a sonic jacket one day, so I don’t know if this is the right restaurant. Her name is Ashley. If this sounds right, please watch out for complaints about excessive rudeness, extremely long waits, and horrible food. She specifically said “I know what they look for in complaints so I tell them what to say , and because they don’t actually go to the restaurant, I make sure they say they were refused a receipt.” I have personally been to the sonic in Ogden, and never had an issue. I feel like the GM is there almost 24-7, I see her all the time, so she clearly cares about her store and her people to work so much. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

Big order and they got everything right. Nothing was missed which is always a plus. Food was good and employees were very friendly. No one got short with us while trying to organize a large five person order through the drive thru. Remained professional

Normally this location is my go to but after getting the wrong order in the drive through and not getting a receipt, I went back not even five minutes later to get the issue fixed. The cashier didn't seem to want to comprehend what I was saying and insisted I pay for her screw up. It was about 6:30 or so at night and I had to wait 15 minutes for 2 drinks only for her to mess up my order and argue with me, saying that I was wrong and that I needed to pay for the new drink.I've worked in customer service and wouldn't dream of making someone else's job harder than it already is but that girl was incredible rude and refused to listen to us and fix the issue. Terrible experience.Their new staff is so unfriendly and rude. I won't be coming back to this location anymore if they're going to mess up a simple order, blame the customer, and then refuse to fix it. Cannot believe I wasted money at this location TWICE. The Layton location is so much better.12/5/21 6:30PM
