This place has the best pizza in Ogden. The Crust is so so good and they have some really unique recipes. You wouldn't think a shrimp taco pizza would be good but it was amazing. The California sunrise is their star though. The green goddess sauce is so unique and is an awesome addition to any pizza. They have specials every month too and it always hits home.
Although very busy Saturday lunch, the host seated our party of 2 immediately and our server was prompt and friendly. Our food arrived quickly, fresh and tasty pizza…and I especially liked the strawberry mimosa! Highly recommended
This was our first visit to the new Slackwater location on 24th St. This place is so awesome! What a massive improvement! (and things were great over by the river).? My wife and I were impressed on so many levels: overall dining experience was EXCELLENT!Went to the bar because the place was just so crowded, but it was a great experience with wonderful, friendly service, awesome beer selection ? truly great place to visit if you want local craft brew & really great food.?Try a Calzone?: The Italian Job was just delicious??Awesome presentation and so flavorful!⚡️ Kudos for having EV parking and access at the front!?Impressive ⚡️
The beer selection is terrific, the pizza is not. This is supposed to be THE place for pizza...but if you have any idea of what great pizza tastes like you will know it is not this. Too bad :(
Just had my haircut from The Gentlemen's Barber shop across the street and finally decided to try the new Slackwater and I'm so glad we did! Beautiful establishment awesome service and great food, and oh yeah they offer a W I D E variety of spirits. I don't know that I've seen so many beers to chose from, But absolute deliciousness and gives you the opportunity to try a few of the local beer crafts. I ordered The Diablo sticks as an appetizer and oh my God they are so delicious. I was expecting a cheese stick type appetizer But its served to you as more of a calzone cheese bread filled with cheese, pickled jalapenos and fresh jalapeno slices. The dipping sauce has a barbecue smell so it throws you off but it is also a smoky spicy marinara and it pairs well with this. Trust me, I think it Will be ordered every time I step foot in this place? I also ordered the Iron Horse Pizza which was perfect for a single person. The crust is light and The pizza is not greasy. I also ordered two beers The Red Rocks Hefeweizen (local) and the Wasatch Strawberry Blonde (local) both amazing bears with all the beers they offer. My wife had the spinach salad and added chicken. I had several bites of this as well, it had green apple slices, candied pecans, spinach, Gorgonzola cheese crumbles and chicken, their house dressing is amazing. Been wanting to try it since they moved and If I can say this The food is even better and freshly made. The appetizer is big enough to eat as a meal so I would strongly suggest to share a pizza if you order an appetizer and or salad. Love the new restaurant, the staff is amazing Billy and Sierra were lots of fun and on their game! Give the new location a shot, you'll be glad you did! It's also close to the historic 25th Street, walking distance and to the ballpark. Great location And plenty of parking!
We had young kids with us and the staff was great with them even when some water was spilled. It was just kind of loud for family eating. The food was good. We started with the nachos and they were delicious. We got the Iron Horse pizza and it wasn’t bad. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but I would eat there again. Price was average.
Food was great, place is very busy and popular. Want to go to a place to meet people and have some great food this is the place .
This place is awesome! Very impressed. We had never heard of it before, but loved it from the moment we walked in. We got the Spin-Art Dip for our appetizer with the Tikka Masala pizza and Grape and Gorg calzone. Everything was seriously fantastic. Super fresh, cooked to perfection, the atmosphere is very chill, and the service was great. Plenty of food and some leftover. This has definitely been added to our list of new favorites. ?
Our first visit here. We were there for a late lunch. The staff was amazing! Our server was awesome and very helpful with food and drink suggestions! The atmosphere was nice and the decor was spot on. We ended up ordering wings, a salad, a sandwich, and a pizza. We will be back.
Last night my wife and I tried Slackwater in Ogden and had one of the best meals we have had in a long time at any restaurant.Our Waiter was fabulous and the Manager went out of his way to make sure everything was fantastic for us.We were both totally impressed with the atmosphere, personnel and food.Easy a 10 Star restaurant!!
