Tried Laan Thai as our daughter's are exploring foods they like. This trip knocked it out of the park! The Boba drinks were great, the kids portion perfect and the right amount of balance. My wife had yellow curry and I had the combination Pho. Wow! Ate a lot and still left with plenty of leftovers. This is great niche restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. There was even a live concert happening outside in the grassy Square. We'll be back!
Nice clean restaurant. It’s nice to find an authentic style restaurant which is rare in Northern Utah. I will have to come back and try other dishes. Chicken satay was very good. And the pad see ew was ok. I like they had a kids menu with decent selection and portion. I’d pass on the boba tea.
I love Thai food and I'm always looking for Thai restaurants to try them. I was a fan of Ruan Thai near Wynco in ogden but the food was always a hit or miss and often tasted different even when ordering the same dish. I love the place out in Riverdale that's a Thai food/pizza place also they are great but enough about them. This restaurant has amazing Thai food and the spice levels are on point if you like spicy food 1-5 the 5 is hot be careful if you order it unless your a chili eater! Plenty of dishes to choose from and good size portions as well. The servers are friendly and helpful also when asking questions and take care of you. The setting is great small little nice restaurant it's perfect I would recommend this place over any other Thai restaurant I've been at. This used to be another place before the name changed not sure what changed but I remember eating here before when the name was different and I wasn't a fan of the food but I also did take out. Not sure if it was a different restaurant or just name change but regardless this is now my spot when I want Thai food!

This is the best Thai in Ogden and better than most in SLC!We stopped by after the PPAC Utah rally at the Municipal building and it was a 5 minute walk. It is located between 24th and 23rd Streets in historic downtown Ogden near the movie theater.The restaurant is nicely appointed and they have a nice patio with outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside (Covid is spreading again) and it was quite nice.They were VERY busy even though it was late for lunch...almost 2 pm. They were also understaffed with one lovely young women handling all the orders.Our food was delicious! I had the Pad Woon Sen, glass noodles with veggies and chicken. I never eat my whole entree at a Thai restaurant but I literally cleaned the plate! The dish had tender white meat chicken with crisp stir fry cabbage, zucchini, broccoli and onions. So good!My mom, who is a tiny little thing who usually eats 1/3 of her entree also ate her entire entree! She ordered the mixed veggies with shrimp. The shrimp were large and plentiful and the veggies were done tender crisp. She really liked it.Our dining companion had the ginger chicken and she ate her entire entree and said it was some of the best she had eaten.We did not get any appetizers or dessert but we will be back and you should try it!! Cannot recommend it enough. Great food at reasonable prices

It was our first time. The food was good and fresh. The serving size was large for the curry, I might have liked more a rice. The orange chicken was really good. I felt like that portion size was on the smaller side. Our service was great and the owner came to check on everything. I would go again. The wait for a table and food was a little long, not bad. There was a large birthday party happening we we came. Come try it. The menu has a ton of options.

Very delicious authentic Thai cuisine and I've tried many in Utah and this place is more than great food but a wonderful experience where locals can feel close to the culture and foodies can feel the love behind the creation and attention to each dish. Really loved the extensive menu with well done pictures and descriptions to help a newbies and entice veterans to try new items. Liked the options for heat/spice level as well.From what we had the Lao Salad only a few places can do it this well, best massaman curry, delicious combo appetizer platter, fried bananas with coconut ice cream was a delight and glass noodles and pad thai were done to perfection just make sure you pick the spice/heat level that you like and we love it hot!
