ver.y authentic, great food, friendly service, modestly priced. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Ogden
Dropped in here with the family before our drive home to Logan and we had the place to ourselves! Food was quick, reasonably-priced and very tasty. The family running the joint was friendly and I’d return anytime we’re in Ogden if we’re looking to get our Mexican cuisine fix.
Vegan friendly! Their vegetable burrito is so good! They also offered to leave the cheese and meat off of half the nachos my friend ordered so I could have some too. Very nice people, and the food was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
We were staying at the Courtyard across the street and was looking for Mexican. The Google reviews on this place were very good and we decided to give it a shot. It was not a dissapointment. I was there with three others and all four of us got different meals and loved them. Mom and Pop business and very friendly. My meal was so good I over ate. I plan to be back in March for Spring Skiing.
My husband and I walked in, no one was up front so as most people do we decided to go to the clearly marked customer bathroom, wash hands, etc and then come back to sit down to order. They started to yell at us for using the bathrooms, banging on the doors and yelling for us to get out, we explained we were there to buy food and were paying customers, they didn't care and kept yelling so we left. Worst restaurant experience I have ever had and would not recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely horribly customer experience.
My first experience here was great. When I asked about ingredients due to a food allergy, Juan Pablo brought me a plate of chips that weren't deep fried so I didnt have to worry about cross contamination as a courtesy. I was so impressed. Not to forget- The food was delicious!
ordered the #3 my Wife order the chicken fajitas. Definitely plenty of food for both of us. Also reasonably priced. They also have a salsa bar with several types of salsa and avocada sauce. Next time I'll try the Chili Verde. Restaurant it's small seems like it's a man paw shot people are very friendly. Definitely give it a shot!
The chimi was big and yum. But the tortilla soup was hearty...complete with big chunks of chicken, cheese, avocado, and packed full of flavor. Honestly, best tortilla soup I've had in Utah.
Despite the location, this is genuinely fine food. The veggie fajita plate tasted even better than it looks -- a good mix with each piece perfectly cut, seasoned, and cooked, apparently by someone who respects fresh vegetables for how delicious they can be in themselves. I'll be back to try meat dishes.
Really good Mexican food!
