Great place to eat. Food is good. Very Friendly service. Only thing with this particular place had that needs improvement is that they could use newer tables and booths were kind of close to each other. Would recommend.
We love Javier's. Whenever we want Mexican food this is our place. There specials are always delicious. They are a clean and really friendly restaurant.
The food was authentic mexican and the staff were friendly and helpful. The waitress checked on us multiple times in the 50 min we were there. Overall a great place to eat and not expensive either.
It was fairly good. The 1 taco was $5 dollars with less meat then it use to be and very little lettuce and tomatoes. The lettuce on the combination plate was hardly anything and no tomatoes. They use to serve tomatoes with the lettuce.
The food here is great. I would place it in my local \\\"Mexican restaurant\\\" list in brain folder. It's a little bit on the pricey side, I would expect it to taste a tad bit better for what is asked $$$
Javier's is an Ogden classic. I have loved it since I was a kid and it holds a special place in my heart and stomach.
Great food. I always get the same menu item. I love Blanches special.
The food was amazing. The service was slow but nice place to eat
We went during a slow time and day. It was our first time there and was unsure at first because of how empty it was inside but we left impressed. Very friendly server. Hot, fast, and delicious food.
I like to leave thorough reviews so here goes. I ordered the El Rancho Quesedilla with chicken. It was good, but was small for the price I paid ($13.50). They were heavy on the chicken and light on the cheese. IMO the dish could be better with more cheese inside. The tortilla was soggy from the sauce in the chicken which made it messy to eat. Quesedillas should be edible with your hands, but I had to use a fork and knife because of the soggy tortilla. The refried beans that came with it were very good. Not too liquid which I like. Rice was also good and flavorful, but again there was too little for the price I paid. The chips were fresh and delicious. The guacamole was fresh, but lacked flavor and tasted too much like plain avocado. Easy fixes here... more cheese (in quesadilla and melted on the beans), less sauce in the chicken so the tortilla stays crisp, and more seasoning in the guac. Overall the food was good, but too pricey. I ordered this for lunch and in most cases a quesadilla with rice and beans shouldn't be more than $10 unless its giant (which this was not). The place was clean and the service was very friendly. Management should take note that by lowering prices a few dollars on each meal they will likely draw more customers at a high enough rate to more than make up for the lower cost. Hope this helps both the restaurant do better and the consumer to choose if this is the right place for you!
