We were in the area and thought Jamba Juice sounds good. So we stopped by and ordered our smoothies. It took them 15 minutes to make our smoothies. And no, they weren’t busy. Problem was out of the two employees there, only one was working. She was making smoothies, pouring smoothies, doing dishes, and restocking. While the other employee was just, in a slow motion picture style, wandering around. I can’t say he was new. Mainly because neither employees we’re talking to each other. My observation was they don’t work well together, because one doesn’t like to work and is lazy. It felt very awkward standing there watching them, knowing I couldn’t make our smoothies come any faster.

I buy a large smoothie and I TIP every time. The Ogden and Layton stores have made me repurchase the smoothies each time and refused a refund/ I spend $10 a day on smoothies at Jamba Juice in Layton and Ogden Utah locations. I am beyond appalled at how bad the customer service is. Each store should offer a refund or as a courtesy give the customer a smoothie if the mistake was made with the app. I literally selected the locations manually in the app each time. The app tends to reset itself to the prior location. I'm shocked that each store made me purchase again and couldn't do a refund or something. No longer going to Jamba Juice. I was spending $300 a month on jamba smoothies. They must not need everyday repeat business from customers.
Little Dude with name tag big deaven was the only one working while his coworkers were outside goofing off with some other kids who didn’t work here. You could tell he was stressed out doing everything by himself. Don’t know if the managers care but they should give this kid a raise and some better coworkers. He kept looking out hoping they would come help him but instead the kept vaping and playing around. Hopefully they were on break and not playing hooky while deaven did everything alone.
One of the workers (I couldn't spot her name tag) was really snappy with customers. Everything else is great though.
I ordered 2 smoothies and one had too much ice bland flavor and the other was just bland. I've ordered the same smoothies in the past and it's been ok. But the last couple times really not good. Either employees aren't being trained properly or they are being trained to make watered down versions of the prior smoothies. For 7.00 a small it had better be good every, single, time. Don't plan on returning.
I don’t understand why the employees that were working there this morning was moving at a snails pace. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Kind of like they couldn’t care less. I understand everywhere is short staffed, I don’t mind waiting. These folks were moving like they had all day. It was disappointing to say the least. At least my smoothie tasted great❤️
FYI- note that they replied!!! BUT I DID CONTACT MGR. I DID CONTACT CORPORATE. NOT A GOOD COMPANY. Can’t give it a zero or I would. Went there and wanted 2 smoothies saw their metal cups & bought 2. Male staff member put the metal cups , lids & metal straws in liquid sanitizer in sink. Left them there & waited in next customer. He then pulled them out, after he had waited on 2nd customer & didn’t rinse them (I didn’t knw that until later) & put our smoothies in. My smoothie tasted like rubbing alcohol. It burnt my lips, mouth and throat. We tossed them. Wasted close to $50.00 on that purchase. I sent Mrg email & she told me to come in and get free smoothie, that she put me on list so employees would knw (I hv her emails). I went in (we live in N. Ogden) & same male employee that poisoned us was there & didn’t know anything about this & neither did female w/ him. He informed me that the mgr was out bk doing inventory & wouldn’t be finished for a long time. I sent mgr another email & she then decided it was company policy that only she could give o/the free smoothie. LAIR. Just makes it all up as she goes along. I contacted Corporate & they weren’t happy & assured me this would be handled & I would be contact soon! NOPE! Locals dropped it. BUT I WON’T & I will keep posting so ppl know what a lousy franchise you are. You could hv done the right thing! Now you will pay the price! All this because you refused good customer service. You caused illness w/ you bad service.

Maddie, Tiana, and Ty are really funny. You should definitely go while they’re working ? Best employees ever. Great smoothies too!
