So the 12th street location is by far my favorite.The staff has always been very courteous and accommodating.I sometimes order something that's different from what's on the menu and they are always kind enough to try.I've always treated them with respect and it's come back ten-fold.Food always hot, even when I've had to wait 30 minutes.My only complaint is the drive thru, since you can pull up to it in different directions you'll have people try to get in front of you
To start off they had missed 2 burritos and got one of them wrong. Not a big deal at first so we go back and politely ask for our burritos and she got mad and said that she had recorded herself bagging the food and it’s all in there but it literally wasn’t. We pull up to the window and say we have to pay for it and telling us to leave the drive through and we obviously don’t cause we want the food we paid for. So in order to get the missing food they made us literally apologize. The whole crew seemed very immature. They were all just staring at us and making fun of us. I would definitely never recommend anyone going there. That girl fs needs to be put in check.
First I want to start off I got off work late, just simply wanted to go to del taco to get a simple bean and cheese burrito and a taco my buddy gets another burrito and my girlfriend gets a chipotle burrito or something like that, they ended up missing all 3 burritos no biggie, so went back asked nicely to let them know, then order taker aka manger or shift lead whatever you call it, starts having attitude and telling me that she bagged the food and she knows, I then tell her that the food is not in the bag then she starts to argue even more, long story short, manger was terrible, made us apologize for being rude and made us pay for the burrito that we already paid for. Never coming here again, TERRIBLE FOOD SERVICE. It’s sad, I know how it is, customer is ALWAYS RIGHT no matter what it is. I work at a restaurant. I suggest nobody goes there, unless it’s in the daytime, because night crew is terrible. I’d give zero stars if I could
For fast food it's very slow with not a very big line( waiting half an hour at the point of review ). Went around 3 and was not happy with the employees with one checking their phone and having me repeat my order while she looked at her smart watch.The entire place was dirty and if I was not in a hurry I would've went to the riverdale location instead of this dump.I don't worry as much about masks but while they made other people's food their where coughing and wiping their noses. Disgusting.Tldr: employees where SLOW! had bad covid practices, and would text on their phone while talking to youBuilding was dirty. I would not recommend this place
I'm giving this 5 stars under the context of that what it is, which is a low-cost, quick, fast food option. You don't rank a Del Taco, Taco Time, Taco Bell, etc. against actual Mexican food you rank them as fast food places. Anyway, even with labor shortages and things of that nature this location has worked hard to keep lines moving and stays pleasant with guests and their customer service. This is my local Del location now so i go to this one all of the time and it's a great local Del. Glad that the lobby is finally back open.
Your standard chain taco food. But, I enjoyed tonight more than I enjoy Taco Bell.I went snowboarding for three days and had the appetite of a starving walrus.Suffice to say, my taco was good and crunchy and my meat paste burrito didn’t let me down.Frankly, it hit the spot.
I would give this place a zero star if I could. I work in fast food so when my parents and I went through the del taco on Sunday at 2 we thought it would be fast but nope we sat for 15 minutes at the window and when a young man finally opened it he asked what our order was after we had already ordered, then we sat for another 25 minutes for our food because they only had one cook, we got so tired of waiting that I tried to cancel our order but they said they couldn’t give refunds! So we just waited for our food. Then we were given cold fries so we asked for hot ones, the lady offered us a shake because of all the problems they were having but we said no because it would probably just take them thirty more minutes to make a shake! At this point I’m super annoyed they have ppl that don’t know what they’re doing working. We ended up leaving at 3:05! Anyway I had a poor experience here and It’ll be a long while before I come again.
This place has been a joke since before the pandemic. The line is always long and the food is rarely fresh. We made the mistake of pulling into the drive through and immediately got blocked in. After 4 cars in front of us that took an hour we had to order at the window and there was no shortage of staff. If there's more than 2 cars in line drive to a different location. It's faster to go to 2700 and back than wait.
Went there the other day and they made the tacos and theysy sat on counter in a sack forc10 minutes because they forgot to cook fries. Then tried to give me of the fries that were old and cold. I asked so is my tacos going yo be cold and the girl mouthed off they won't be cold. Well they were cold and will never go there again. Service is horrible
Loving this place. Great value. Good food. Those other taco places need to learn from Del Taco how to get the order right. It's not hard.
