Tastes like exactly how westerners would think Korean food should taste... Not authentic at all. My mind is blown that this place has a 4.8 rating.The “sweet sauce” tastes almost like honey with mayo, and the spicy sauce tastes like sriracha mixed with mayo, but not Kewpie. Rice, noodles, and chicken were ok. Vegetables were super over cooked and salty.Just don’t get the sweet sauce, otherwise you’ll be eating noodles and rice with honey sauce. ?
I found a unicorn, a Korean restaurant that charges for kimchi; king Sejong is spinning in his tomb. Food is ok. The prices are a bit high for what is basically bibimbop without an egg. Some people have said this used to be a food truck and if that's true, it makes sense. I'll go get a killer dolsot bibimbop at any Korean restaurant for about the same price and have included banchan (side dishes) so I don't know what these people are trying to get at other than play off people's ignorance of what is literally a few miles away. No reason to dine in because they charge $3 for a bottle of water; the same price for bottled coke, and no option for a cup of water. tldr. skip this place and just go to a local Korean restaurant. You'll get better food for the same money, get included side dishes, and not have to pay for a cup of water.
Super fun and energetic atmosphere, and the food was excellent. We loved it and we'll definitely be back.
First time at cupbop. Great customer service and great food.
I love cupbop, but this location is stingy. They gave us half of the amount of meats as other locations, and more rice to fill the bowl. Still tastes good, but if you’re used to a good serving don’t go here.
We were on the road staying in Ogden for a night and looking for dinner. I watched the owners on Shark Tank so when I saw there was one in town was interested to give it a try. I ordered a combo with beef and pot stickers (no. 7.5 sauce). It is a very efficient operation taking the order and assembling the bowl expediently. The food was fresh and portion size was appropriate for the price charged.However, this being my first experience here, I was not aware of the heavy amount of “sauce” applied by the server (way too much!). I would’ve preferred to taste the noodles, beef, etc. but all I could taste was the sauce. If I do return I will give my order sans any sauce and get some on the side.
I thought I would try something new and I’m glad I did, the food is amazing and the staff is great!
Placed an online order they forgot to add the sauce to my bowl and didn’t get the side of noodles. Didn’t realized until I got home and not worth the drive back.
OMG!!! I absolutely loved this place. I walked in with my co worker were out training at the sheriff's office. Walked in told them it was out first time. They yelled and next thing I knew I had a bowl of some of the most amazing food I've ever tasted. Loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend you come here. The employees were amazing ??
Delicious dinner and wonderful/kind service. They were very busy but continued to be efficient while kind and friendly with all the customers. Will come again
