These guys are such a terrible location. Last 3 times I've order they have messed up my order. Just tonight it happened again. They left out one of my meals i paid for and once I got back from picking up the missed food (a 20 minute round trip with no appology at all from their staff) I get home and sit down to eat with my family only to find out they left out the sauce on another order and the meat on a third. These guys are incompetent. Order at your own risk. I won't be going back.
This location has gone downhill. Have visited frequently over the years as I work within walking distance. The pork burrito was not good. The meat had a strong almost gamey taste to it. Have coworkers who are saying the same. The staff isn't as friendly and fun as the prepandemic staff that was there. I realize the world has changed a bit. Hopefully this location can get back to the great food and service that it once was.
the lady that was working was so rude didn’t smile once, then we went in and she said they only had sweet pork and then we were fine with that and then we asked for chips and queso and she said they didn’t have chips? she was very rude definitely not planning on going back to that one ever again.
Don't go in the afternoon. Tortillas were hard and they skimp on the meat. The burrito was easily 1/2 what it usually is, and my daughter doesn't want to finish the salad. We debating coming here and she commented, "this experience has convinced me to go to Cafe Rio from now on."
No steak Sunday???? Guess it’s just this location because I called around and seems other Costa Vidas serve steak everyday. What’s going on here? To lazy to cook steak? Went in for dinner on Sunday at 4:45, looked like they were closing up for the night. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Have had my phone in order messed up several times, will not call in an order ever again. I need to see it made in front of me. Love Costa Vida but this location is hands down the worst.
So the basics, food was good (had the grilled steak burrito with red enchilada sauce which was on point), service was quick and the staff was friendly enough. The atmosphere here is very interesting as it boarders the indoor surfing facility.
I usually get good service. There have been times where they were out items like tortillas, enchilada sauce, etc. The service is usually friendly and they are fast when making the food. Today (3/14/22) I went up to the counter and the older of the workers just walked away, got on her phone, came back, walked away upon seeing a line and basically just ignored people. Been going there for years and that was a first for me. The younger workers are always on top of things and always have good service and manners. I do recommend going there. More often than not the service is good and I have always enjoyed the food.
Normally a great experience. This time our nachos had nothing on top or on them and they were burned. The worker who helped us was great and friendly. So it was an okay experience this time.
Couldn't order a mango chicken salad, which is why we go there. Very sad about that.. Very unkempt, entire staff spoke Spanish around, over and behind me. Those spoke English only spoke broken English so I couldn't understand them. Had a hard time give my order. Very disappointed. Probably won't go there again.
Stop complaining about short staffing when you won't pay a living wage.
