So I've lived in North Ogden for 10 years and just barely tried Andy's Club. It has a lot of hype from everyone I've talked to and everyone I know loves the place. I would probably have given it 3 stars for my experience with the food, except the staff were excellent and it was a clean and good natured establishment, so I bumped it up a star because they were very friendly. That said, the meat was also really good, but the rice was way too lemon-flavored for my liking. And the price for the amount of food you get is a bit much. I ordered the gyro dish and it cost $14. The gyro was delicious, but the rice has me pretty turned off as it was way too potent of a lemon flavor. My wife ordered the pork skewer for $14, and a lot of her meat was pretty grisly, though the meat she did get tasted really good! In the end, I'm not convinced it was worth the cost. She also got the rice and had no desire to finish it.We were both still hungry by the end of the meal, partially from not wanting to finish the rice. That's just my 2 cents, others may like it more or have better experiences. I also had high expectations because my first Greek food experience was excellent, and this was subpar for me. I wish Andy's Club the best though! And if you go there, I hope you like it more than I did. Just please remember to be kind to your servers and tip well :)
The meat on the gyro sandwich was delicious- not overly spiced up and cooked to perfection. Really, really enjoyed it. The fries were very lightly seasoned and seemed freshly cut. Waitress was friendly but not overbearing. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
We have been coming to Andy's for a couple of years now. The service has always been wonderful and the employees were extremely friendly and the food is wonderful!I'm not quite sure what has happened, but whoever this new person is, who I believe is a manager, is extremely rude and not accommodating at all.We wanted to have a seat in the bar and saw that there were tables available. Rather than seating us, she told us there were no tables available in the bar, then rudely pointed out we can sit in the main dining area and walked off! She also pointed out that another couple was to be seated before us, which we were well aware of and we had no intention of being seated before them.Had she explained the situation in a professional manner, we would have understood why we were not able to eat in the bar. Due to her unprofessional and rude behavior, we left.Your Staff is the key to repeat business, but when you are greeted rudely upon entering the restaurant, returning is out of the question in my eyes. I can assure you due to her rude, unprofessional manner, we will not be back!Very disappointed, all due to poor customer service!
Andy's Dark Dirty Bar- This is more bar than restaurant. Very dark, almost entirely lit by neon beer signs.- Dirty sticky tables- Fountain drinks are flat and taste very old- Understaffed and not very friendly- I bring my own energy drinks with me to restaurants as most don't have any and this this the first time I wasn't allowed to drink my own drink.- Salads all white core of iceberg head- dressing has almost no flavor- Tiny plates, no room for ketchup- Home made but soggy fries- Had to go to the bar for refills- Very cheap food, and that explains the 70+ year old demographic- very few parking spaces that are always full
Great food, great beer. Watched the staff work so well together as such a great team! Pleasant experience with home town vibe.
Really pleased with the wait staff and the Gyro was delicious, super filling. I'm not super fond of ice berg lettuce but with the Greek dressing and the Gyro it just worked. Definitely want to come back for dinner.
Kick back atmosphere, great, friendly service and awesome gyros. If you want to know how good a restaurant is, check the parking lot. Andy's lot is always full from opening to close. Will be going back to try the whole menu, which includes Greek and American.
Had the pork souvlaki and dolmathaki very good flavor and great portions, the pork chop special was also excellent portions and grilled perfectly. Will definitely be back to try more in the near future.
We had the gyros and salads, food was tasty hot and delicious, our salad was fresh and our drinks were ice cold, our server was friendly and very talkative she suggested some things off the menu and we went with her advice ?
My wife and I called in a order, it was two dinners ( Souvlaki ) with rice and salad's we wanted to have the lunch by the Ogden river when we opened the containers and bags there was no napkins and more important there was no forks for the rice and salad! when I called they told me that we need to ask for them, Totally Weird! Maybe they think people eat with there fingers and wipe there hands on there clothes. And the two plates were 48 Bucks! for that price one would think they could afford forks and napkins.??
