Couldn't be more disappointed in the hosting staff and rude nature in which they interacted with my group as well as other patrons. I arrived with my furball and asked for patio seating while the rest of my group arrived in the next couple minutes. Host refused to seat me, offer a beverage while I waited, or give me a menu until the whole party had arrived. I understand if the restaurant was slammed and not a seat to spare but on the contrary the place was empty only 6 tables had people seated and dining and not a soul on the patio. So I stood there for 10 minutes holding my pup unnecessarily uncomfortable for me and my four legged friend. Once my friends had arrived we had to revisit the host to beg for menus. While waiting again to now plead for utensils I observed the host repeatedly being unnecessarily unaccommodating to other patrons resulting in 3 other parties walking out. After another 10 minutes of waiting and not receiving the most remote of acknowledgement from anyone we too did the same and left without being served. I have been to other Taqueria 27 locations and the experience has always been fantastic, this Fashion Place location on the other hand is a trash fire. Avoid this location if you can and go anywhere else if you want to feel human.

Stopped in for some dinner at about 6:30 pm and we’re seated immediately. Server was quick to the table and got drinks going and read off the specials. Both my date and I decided to go with a special, and pictured were the tacos of the day. Let’s just say, well worth the stop!

The absolute worst service I’ve had in any restaurant. I understand there are staff shortages, but the waitress was THE WORST. That is something that can’t be blamed on COVID. It was NOT busy, there were empty tables around us. She got our orders wrong TWICE. She asked how we wanted to pay THREE different times. She brought us orders for other tables as well. Then when we said we were ready to go she asked how we wanted to pay AGAIN. Then we waited at least 20 min to actually pay and had to walk up to the counter because 4 different servers were up there goofing off and laughing. When we said how upset we were they laughed at us. When we said we weren’t joking they said they would handle it in the most condescending tone. If you want to “help kids get their foot in the door” they should be trained. I will not return and believe me, I will tell everyone I know not to go to that location EVER.UPDATE: The location manager was very kind and made me feel like I was taken seriously. He let me know they would do their best to rectify the issues. I have since returned and had a MUCH better experience. The server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. He was nice and checked on us multiple times. The food was great as usual. I would return to this location based on the newest experience I had.

A must try place if you like street tacos ? ? good food !

I have eaten here before and it was good. This visit the food was below average, the fries on the angus steak taco were old, stale and inedible. The waitress did not care. Last visit to this location. Holladay is much better.

Great food, delicious drinks, and friendly service! The only reason for the 4 star review is that the service seemed quite slow. Not a huge deal, but a lunch shouldn't take 1.5 hours when there are still tables available. Other than that... I recommend the pork belly tacos! Scrumptious!

T27 you should euthanize this one immediately. This is such a far cry from what the original T27 was. Everything about this including the food and menu was lazy and cheap. I feel like I can tell you hired a bunch of high-school kids that don't care and had to 86 all of the menu items that made you try hard, like mole and duck confit. Also, ordering guac at t27 used to be cool. It was fresh and delicious. Now it's pre-made and comes out of the fridge with a soggy chip stuck in it. You had a really good thing going with margarita of the day and now your waitresses just rush people out the door without entertaining the idea of making money on alcohol. Feels tacky to be offered a diet coke at a place that used to be fun. The sad part is that you dont even try to greet and run front of house. People come in and stand there awkwardly without being greeted for literally 5 minutes sometimes. No signature hot sauce, no fun environment and no vibe. Wow. I'm just so disappointed. Another great little slc restaurant has sold it's soul. As if Utah needs yet another Mexican restaraunt, let alone one that just removed everything different about it. You're amongst the ranks of cafe rio now. Good job, idiots.

I love that they specialize in mostly tacos. Tacos were good. The vegetarian options aren’t the best. I think there are two options. I was hopefully for more options. I tried the grilled veggies tacos. They were okay, I don’t think I would get them again. My friend loved the duck confit tacos! The guacamole was really good!! Really recommend getting that if you do go. They have a lot of margarita options too. The pineapple margarita was really good. Churros were a nice dessert to end the meal with. They were good! The meal itself was a little overpriced, we thought.

Good food, great service. Cool environment.

Sundays here have the most amazing buffalo chicken tacos. We have had them several times and love them. They were delicious today as well, despite sitting in their boxes for 10 minutes before me picking them up and driving 10 more minutes back home to eat. When ordering to go, be aware that the time listed on the confirmation is not what the restaurant is seeming to aim for. I wish the time was more accurate, within 5 minutes would be nice, but at least they didn’t end up being soggy.
