This Denny's is disgusting. The tables were filthy. I cleaned it with one of my disinfectant wipes. There was six more group. It was on May 26th at 4:30 p.m. We ordered our food. My granddaughter ordered her food, mac and cheese, bananas, fish crackers. We all got our food except for my granddaughter's bananas. The waitress said we did not order them. Yes we did. Kids eat free so then she charges us for the bananas. I sit and watch her scratch her head and not wash her hands. That is disgusting. It made me sick then finally after 20 minutes we're getting ready to leave. She brings the bowl of bananas but also charge for them. This place was disgusting. There was three people there working. They were disgusting. They were standing in the corner of the kitchen doing nothing instead of washing down the tables so people don't get sick. All they want are the tips. I wouldn't even give one star for this place. It gave Denny's at this location of bad name!!!!
I have given this location so many tries and each one is the same!The waiter is always rude & actually shooed me today when I asked if the take out sitting by the register was mine. He always acts as if he hates his job and is so rude Everytime!I paid $32. For a steak and cold onion rings. But to afraid to go back and say anything to the person/waiter working that my food was missing the bread and potatoes. He is so ridiculous with how he acts and treats the customers . Today is my last visit to this Denny's! If he hates his job so much then why has he worked here for so long? Whatever happened to friendly service! It's awful!!!
Well, I understand that places are shorthanded, so I am pretty patient, wait time was about 15 minutes (75% of tables were open but not cleared) did not disinfect for the next people, shared rags in between cleaning. Food was great, prices were great, please...please... deep clean your high chairs, they are absolutely disgusting..
Zero Stars is the true review. We were there with many others on March 23, 2022 just before 8pm. Many who were only seated when they said something to passing employees that apparently ignored their existence. Then when seated, the question of "What would you like to drink?" was nothing more than a rhetorical question intended for protocol. The employees found their gathering spot nestled behind the hostess station wall. During our 30 minutes of tolerating this ridiculous service, only two men were ever even spoken too with any real intent. They were the two who appeared homeless and only wanting a space to sit and relax inside. The owner should really view their videos. I think they would be shocked. If service like this continues I suspect this location will be closed VERY soon. Ironically, it seems that this Denny's disgruntled customers prefer to go to Dee's on Redwood and 4700 S. There was a collection there around 8:30 after being ignored for 30 minutes. Dee's was FABULOUS!! We were talked to with smiles, we had drinks in less than 4 minutes, and our food order was taken within 6 minutes. If you are thinking of patronizing this Denny's; only do so for pure entertainment to watch the staff ignore you and staff linger for a paycheck. When you are truly hungry enough, head to Dee's where they reportedly feed many hungry and ignored Denny's customers.
Food isn't bad but every time we go there it is only one or two gals serving and they are super stressed out. Usually it is still OK but the vibe isn't good because of the stress on the servers. They need to hire more people.
Waited for our food longer than necessary and when they brought it, they were missing my husband's entire order! My eggs were cold and the waitress seemed more preoccupied on looking at my phone than doing her job. The manager had to come and serve our food and not once did they come around to provide refills or ask how everything was. To say the least, it was very disorganized and if you like cold food, come to this place.
I ordered a beyond burger with all of the toppings and extra cheese and I was sent this sad looking burger. It is an all beef burger with no sauce, tomato, lettuce, etc. The fries were terrible. Very soggy and limp. I am super disappointed!
Wait wait waiting and still waiting for our drinks straws and condiments. The food we got was just barely warm. Only 5 table's to serve so why did we have to wait so long? We were served before a table that was there before us. This place was slooow and the service was mediocre eat here and you will see
This review is as a dasher and not a customer. I do not recommend ordering The Meltdown from here, at least not during the late shift because they always add an extra 20 minutes on top of your order even if there is barely anyone seated in the restaurant. The server was also stomping around and complaining to customers how he has to work with dashers in an unprofessional manner.
