I ordered the choose two with the tomato soup and Tuscan grilled cheese. Maybe it was on purpose but my soup was almost cold? It was room temp at the very least which I personally did not enjoy. My boyfriend got the Mac n cheese and tomato and mozzarella sandwich. It was all fine, but nothing more than that. The mac and cheese was honestly a little flavorless and very soupy. And perhaps again that aspect could be up to personal choice, but it wasn’t for us. Especially for what we paid it was not satisfying. The drinks were pretty good though, but when only your drinks are good it’s not an enjoyable time.
Haven't eaten here in a while because it's always just been meh. On my sandwich they left off bacon I ordered which is $3 extra, put tomatoes on I asked them not to, and forgot croutons I ordered for my soup. My sandwich was also barely thicker than a slice of bread and had hardly anything on it. They also left tomatoes on my wife's pasta she asked them not to. Thanks for reminding me why I don't eat here. At least the soup was decent.
Sunday, 05/15, I came to work 30 minutes early so that I could get some breakfast on my way into the mall and Corner was closed! But it was 9:40am? So I called and they said they’d already started opening at 10am, and that I’d have to come back.Very confusing and I ended having to take an early break just to get food - they were quick and the food was delicious tho.
The BBLT is the only thing I get with every order. These past 2 orders, the bacon is more like bacon crumbles, leftover pieces. Before it was strips of bacon on full sandwiches or half strips on half sandwiches. This recent order had hardly any bacon. Very disappointing.
Have this place another try because everywhere else has a 45 minute plus wait for Sunday brunch. I'm glad we did because we were pleasantly surprised. First there was no wait, but the food was also better than I remembered and the service was quick. Give them a shot too especially if a nearby restaurant wants you to wait an hour. Definitely worth NOT waiting.
Relatively dead in the middle of the day on a Saturday, we stopped in because Cheesecake Factory was saying it was a 3 hour wait and Red Rock over an hour. This place was empty-ish however, maybe 4 other tables had customers. Despite that, the food ( 1 salad, 2 cups of soup, and a half-sandwich ) somehow took 15-20 minutes to bring out. Food was ok, not good but not bad... except about 10 minutes after eating I got intense stomach pain and have spent the last 8 hours writhing in pain. We didn't share our food, and I was the only one who got sick, so it was either the salad or the potato soup. But holy cow I've never gotten this sick from food before. Other than coffee from Starbucks, that was all I ate today and the sickness set in almost immediately after eating, so I'm +/- 100% sure it was this food. I recommend avoiding this place, one of the worst afternoons and nights of my life..
Salads, sandwiches, soups baked gooda and sweets - nothing disappoints at Corner Bakery. I've been to the Foothill location as well and can't speak highly enough of either of them.
I love the environment at this cafe. I got the mac N cheese, grilled cheese, chocolate bundt, and chicken pamadori. The food is great. Will be coming here again.
We love corner bakery but not this location. The pasta wasn’t good so I asked one of staff, why it’s so watery, not creamy and he said, “I don’t know I didn’t cook!” ??♀️ And the manager was not kind either. I am not going here again.
The service was great, the food was delicious and fresh The coffee was pretty good too. What surprised me the most is we were able to get a decent amount of food for what I felt to be a fair price. Thanks for the great meal you guys! We Will be back :)
