Pathetic food and service. The ravioli was neither cheesy nor creamy; instead it was filled with sweet tasting mushrooms which was very weird. The cream of mushroom soup tasted like someone had doused it with salt. The chicken limone was average but the mashed potatoes it came with was bland and not creamy at all. The ""broccolini"" that it was supposed to come with was essentially really thick, sturdy/mature broccoli which was hard and bitter. Overall, not a single dish was good except for the free bread and butter. On mentioning this to the waitress, she didn't even bother hearing us out entirely, cut us off mid-way and said if anything was wrong, we should have mentioned it right at the beginning instead of eating half the food. The photos attached to this review were of our plates before we left. We clearly did not eat half. We wanted to give the food a chance before we complained and when we realized we really couldn't take another bite, we let the staff know. $66 down the drain.
Great service and great food here. One member of our table did not like their dish, and the manager brought out a new dish, plus a delicious appetizer, all on the house. The shrimp and eggplant appetizer is delicious! Hard to find customer service that good these days.
Even though this restaurant is located in a shopping mall and is a typical large American chain, the food was quite good. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The tables were nicely spaced and the decor was appropriate and classy. Despite the fact that it was a very large space, it was wonderful to see that it was clean. The staff was very capable and accommodating. Even though my group did not have a reservation, they managed to get us in at the last second.
Brio is normally a great choice for lunch or dinner. They have the best lasagna. On June 6th I had lunch there. My chopped salad was frozen and no good. The lasagna was very tasty but was cold on the inside and the portion was super tiny. Time for someone to step in and get it all fixed back to normal.
Extremely great service. Very good atmosphere. Will dine here again.
The food was amazing! Very good as always. The service however was awful. Our server was unapproachable, and not very friendly. Ruined the experience for us. We had to ask him multiple times for things we ordered, including to go boxes at the end. The worse part was when he brought the wrong drink, instead of apologizing and offering to bring the right one, he simply acknowledged that he brought the wrong drink and left. Several minutes later after reminding him he still hadn’t brought my wife’s drink, he said “Oh and I guess I’ll get that other drink. It’s just a pain in the ass to make”. It was as if we had inconvenienced him by ordering a drink. An Italian soda no less. Soda, flavoring, and a little cream- not that hard. Never did a Manager touch the table to see how everything went. Aside from the food, it was a very disappointing experience.
Food is good and the ambiance is nice. Not too expensive.
For the portions on the lobster bisque and the shrimp and lobster fettuccine it was very small for almost $31. Further, it appeared that the restaurant did not have nearly enough servers for the number of tables as our server was working on seven or eight different tables as well as seating and busing
It was not Brio's best night. It was the Saturday before Mother's Day and large groups had gathered to celebrate. The restaurant was overwhelmed by the large number of people, not enough staff and apparently not enough food or kitchen help. Our server did her best to keep us placated after we ordered by trying to assure us that food was on the way, would we like more lemonade, more bread, etc. She did her very best to keep us satisfied as we waited over 25 minutes from ordering to serving the entree - which was supposed to be served piping hot and was cold. We normally enjoy Brio very much and will return - not during or near a holiday and dine outside on the patio when available. Our heart goes out to the servers who are at the mercy of the kitchen and the rest of staff who scrambled to meet the demands of a very overcrowded and overwhelmed restaurant. See you again soon under better circumstances.
It was nice environment but pork was dry and salmon was too fried. Well cranberry juice ? was good. I don’t think we will come back.
