Service was excellent. Food flavorful with ample portions.. Prices are comparable with competitors. Restaurant & restroom were clean and orderly. I will for certain dine here again. If I had a suggestion it would be to seat folks with more space between them. For example, there was ample empty space and staff continued to seat folks next to each other. However a great dining experience.

I moved to SLC at the start of the pandemic and was really disappointed with all the Mexican options around here. I found La Frontera about a year ago and lemme tell you that it's just what I was looking for! The amazing staff really takes care of all their clients and I feel right at home with their exceptional service, friendly staff and delicious options. All the plates remind me of my abuelitas authentic cooking and I wouldn't go anywhere else. La Frontera Midvale has earned my business for life ❤️

This was our first time and they have made new customers.First of all this place has a drive thru! What!? Yes a drive thru which is super convenient. The staff is super friendly, there is a notice at the front stating they are short staff but it’s the type of world we’re living in. Be patient they are trying their hardest. It was just my husband and I - we like to order different plates so we can have a better sense of the restaurant. We ordered:Complimentary chips and salsa - the salsa had a kick good flavor.Smother Chile verde fries with cheese for appetizer the fries were crispy tender and well done, lots of carne, Chile verde was great.I ordered 3 carne asada flour enchiladas with cheese - yes you read that right - CARNE ASADA - they have carne asada here!Mexican steak came with fries, rice, beans and Flour tortilla. The service was awesome Our waitress Toni was really pleasant and you can tell she really enjoys her job.We will be back! Thank you Toni and staff everything was perfect.

Honestly some of the worst Mexican I have had in a long time. I ordered beef fajitas because it is generally a safe direction to go, but the meat was gristly, the tortillas were dry and super floury, jand the portions were disapointing. Just not very good. Service was okay. Over all a very mediocre experience, I will likely not return unless a friend or family member chooses to go.

Short-staffed, long wait to be seated even though two-thirds of the tables were empty. Our server got our order right, but the lady who came with food gave us the food meant for the order table. We had to flag our server a few times to get the correct food for our table. As for the food itself… it was just okay. Not superb, not horrible. Just okay. My husband didn’t finish his chimichanga (made me try some, it was disappointing) & he didn’t even want to box up what was left. My steak fajitas tasted okay, just had to leave behind all the burnt bits. I didn’t eat the [late] flour tortillas because they were obviously store-bought and nuked in the microwave to warm them up. The sour cream came in packets. I had the saddest serving of guacamole. The best part of the whole meal was the Coke.

Wow a friend of mine recommended this place and I went the same day. This burrito was ????

I’m really sad to write this, as this was my #1 Mexican food choice I’ve literally eaten here hundred of times, love their chili verde. I went tonight, we went through the drive through and waited a good 10 minutes which to me is fine because it means my food is fresh & being prepared, we drive home and opened our food and I took about 3 bites of my frontera fries and felt something hard and chewy so I pulled it out and it was a literal wire from a scrubber or something. Thankfully I felt it instead of swallowing it. I called to complain and they offered me only my fries back when my and two other people ordered. Eventually after being put on hold they asked me to physically bring back the fries and the wire to check it out to refund my money. If it were to have been someone elderly or a kid who would have gotten that, they may not have been so lucky! So dangerous & gross!

Just picked up our food, the pork was actually visible in chili Verde but obviously really old. Couldn't eat it , so dry. While I was waiting, the only waitress without a mask sneezed all over her hand, then put on her apron and headed out to the floor! ..

Great service and food best chips and salsa.

Update to the response... I've been eating at La Frontera for 30 some-odd years typically weekly. Since the pandemic, it has fallen off. There was no meat on the plate except for the chili verde they charge $2 extra for. It was nothing other than beans, tortillas, lettuce, tomato and some enchilada sauce. Absolutely NOT a value. You would be better off at Taco Bell or better? Make your own. This is exactly how their St. George location fell apart. I'm not ready to give up on you. Your response doesn't give me a lot of confidence, but I will try you again next week. Let's see if you can do better.Absolutely dreadful. This place used to be near the top of the goto list. Their food has fallen way off. We ordered the combination. They place a taco filled with refried beans next to a tostada with exactly the same ingredients. They clearly don't understand Mexican food. The enchilada and burrito on the plate are boring. So sad.
