I have been coming to the Midvale Golden Corral for years. Not only is the food excellent but your staff at the restaurant are very professional and do an excellent job. My group of friends especially like Nikki and kristy. They make our eating experience enjoyable.

I love the Carne Asada steak ; the salad bar is good and variety of dessertsSaturday and Sunday breakfast buffet it’s a Must try; fresh waffle made to order ; delicious omelette with fresh ingredients and freshly cracked egg ; delicious french toastPretty nice and hard working people in all sections of the kitchen
Last time we went to Golden Coral the food wasn't all that great. Today, 5/30/2022, it was worse. The pork chop was very tough. Couldn't eat it. The potatoes and sweet potatoes are mislabeled. The blueberry pie was unedible. It was like a frozen pie that had set out a couple of days, or more. I can go on and on. However, my grandson said the Mac & Cheese was pretty good. Therefore earning 1 star.
My favorite location and always my first stop when in or around SLC. Always clean environment with consistently good food and friendly staff.
Golden Corral use to be my favorite restaurant (prepandemic). It has been a while since I went there. I wish that I could report a good review; however, the best that I can do is say that it was "average at best."The food was okay, the steak was rubbery and lacked flavor, the fish was uneatable and the rest was as I said... okay.I'm glad that I stopped by Sam's Club to buy some gift cards at a discount, because it wasn't worth the $19+ that I paid just for me.The service wasn't great either... My server only stopped by a couple of times to bring me my drink, but at least the decor was kinda cute.Out of a rating from 1-10, I'm giving Golden Corral a generous 5. Sorry folks.Maybe breakfast will be better?
So we tried brunch I haven't tried this since the West Valley location closed:-( and I must say we arrived at around 10 a.m. and I was very pleased at the options they have a little bit of everything for everyone. The Omelette station, the hash browns of all different types, the freshness and hello they had every dessert you could think of. I only gave four stars because of this speed that they switch the breakfast out for the lunch I was told it would be there until 11 a.m. however 10 minutes prior they stopped the French toast, the hash browns and the scrambled eggs. I understand and get that they didn't want to make more just to have it go to waste however myself as well as a few other patrons we're asking for this so I don't believe they would have wasted much if any at all. Our server was great food was great much better than the last time I went

My niece wanted to go here for her birthday. You pay before you begin eating. I thought it was weird they asked us if they wanted to leave a tip before we were even served. The food was pretty good. The service seemed to be expected our plates were cleared and drinks were provided.
