How can Great Service/Awesome Staff not be tags in the why I’d recommend this place?
I’d give 100 stars if I could!! We are always greeted as we enter and employees are always extremely nice to us. We accidentally placed our order at another store and they refused to refund us. The manager at the Taylorsville location said “I will cancel and throw out the order but we won’t be refunding you.” Liz took care of us, provided speedy service and refunded our order. Liz is super sweet and I hope she is there every time we order! Thanks for everything you guys do! Sincerely, happy and loyal Mighty Moose :)
Ordered the bacon burger, Cajun fries and drinkI have never had such bland tasting burger in my life. Even had grilled onions and mushrooms still not tasty at all, left 80% there to top it off I paid over eighteen bucks for that enjoymentI’ll look else where for my next burger
This place is an absolute joke. The first time I went to Five Guys I thought it was a bit overpriced to pay close to $10 for a burger, but oh well. I didn’t go again until tonight, where me and my friends were hungry after a long day of hiking, so we settle on going to Five guys.Biggest mistake ever.We walk in, and first, they pressure one of my friends into paying them a tip, so immediately I’m kind of turned off. Then I order two burgers, two fries, and two drinks for me and my other friend. The total ends up being $45 which made me take a step back, I was flabbergasted and in awe that such a simple food order costs so much. I checked my receipt and they had charged me for an extra burger. So I ask for my money back and they were respectful about it and so was I, I understand mistakes happen and we’re all human. I get my money back and we eat and the food is mediocre. Definitely not $35 worth. After our meal, we are getting ready to go, and my friends and I were refilling our drinks, when one of the workers looks over at our table and yells “Are you really gonna make me pick up that mess?” I’m kind of in shock and disbelief at first because we hadn’t even left yet and were planning on going to our table to throw away the rest of our trash. I look back at the table and it’s really not even that dirty, some peanut dust and a few unused napkins. My friends were in disbelief too and we tell her we’re going back to clean it up and then a little girl from another table goes over and started picking up our stuff and throwing it away. The worker tells the little girl “Thank you so much! You’re awesome, unlike them” she gave us a death glare and we were just shocked and embarrassed and left the store.I have never been treated so poorly at any restaurant. I can see why this franchise is turning into a dumpster fire if they’re allowing their workers to treat customers so poorly for no reason. That woman worker should be ashamed of herself for yelling at me and my friends in front of the whole room and chastising us for no reason. This was my last time visiting a five guys. Unreasonable prices for mediocre food and horrible customer service. I can’t wait for the day where I hear the news that Five Guys have gone out of business.
Always great burgers and fries. Great place to take the family and get a quick meal.
My comments are directed at the fort Union location only. I've had great burgers and fries at the other locations I've been to. This one serves under sized burgers and does not give extra fries in the bag. Not sure if it's a recent thing due to the pandemic but it needs to stop. The only reason people are willing to pay the prices they're asking is for the generous portion sizes.
Over priced basic burger. The drink dispenser's syrup mix was off...on BOTH machines. Fries were over cooked and overly dark and the oil tasted off (maybe because it was left in fryer too long). $35 for 3 burgers, 1 soft drink and 1 large fry.
Are these 5 guys serious?!?I recently read an article about how this chain was most likely going out of business in the next couple of years and it got me curious about what their good was like since I hadn't eaten there.Within 30 seconds I could tell exactly why they weren't doing well and one of the only empty restaurants at 4 pm. They charge you $20 for a burger, fries, and drink! You can get a steak dinner at chili's for that much. I didn't feel like spending that much so I just got a little bacon cheeseburger and paid $9 dollars. The patty was paper thin (not even sure how it stayed together honestly) and it was mediocre at very best.I could get a decent sized great tasting bacon burger, sweet potato fries, and a drunk at smashburger for that much! To be honest a McDonald's value menu double burger is better and cost $2.50.Eat here if you are trying to get rid of money for mediocre food.
I have been here a couple of times, and been happy with my experience. The restaurant is usually clean and well stocked, and the food has been as expected.
It was only 945 clearly 15 minutes before they closed they said they could not make food so all I asked was for a soda the manager still did not want to open the door even though I had a kid with me who obviously was excited to go to the restaurant. I stated that it was not quite 10 o’clock and just because he locked the door does not mean they could not provide service until the time they’re supposed to be open one of the employees even offered to make the food and get the drink and still the manager said he would not do it and to go eat somewhere else it was a Sunday night in the evening whoever that MANAGER is should lose their job I will never be eating at a five guys again because of how rude he was towards me even after we offered to tip him
