This was HORRIBLE! Expensive & ridiculous, you can get $1-$2 burgers anywhere that are bigger & better than these $5-$7 burgers! The first pic is a $6 "sourdough melt" as you can see its not thick sourdough or sourdough at all! Its a thin piece of white bread with a small slice - like literally 1 slice of Arbys meat (not the pile 1 slice!) As you can tell its hard to find the meat, and no flavor- a little salt would be ok. Same prob with mushroom patty melt-try to find the patty! Its almost paper thin, full of grease & gross (my 6 year old wouldn't eat it!) Judging by the line of cars - we were in the drive thru for no kidding 36 minutes!- i figured they would at least be good, especially with the prices, but even the "large" fry was a small bag half full! Wgat in the world!!! The only reason for the 2 stars instead of 1 is because the shakes were absolutely delicious! And the staff was friendly, but DEFINITELY not worth the money! So sad!
I really hate to do it and write a bad review but I just have to with this location... consistently bad experience every time I come here. I used to be obsessed with Culver's until this location changed that. Constant long long long waits and incorrect food and even down to the inconsistency of taste. Even lack of staff acknowledgement when a guest walks into the lobby when theres a dozen employees during a slow time.Just wanted to leave some notes that maybe management can be aware of to help fix, but unfortunately I won't be coming here again.1. I put in good faith going through the drive through and not checking my order before I leave - wrong order entirely. Called to see what can be done and they offer to mail me a coupon in the mail for a discounted next meal.2. Sat inside for my meal, ordered the custard for after the meal which was marked on the ticket and then they come out with the meal and the cone all together... like what is going through your head as you as an employee deliver this order to a table. The cheese curds and chicken tenders tasted awful like they didn't change the oil in the fryers for a long time, I didn't even finish my meal.3. Another drive through order and sadly didn't check my bag before leaving. I only received 2 of the 4 chicken tenders. If you go to Culver's you know food isn't cheap. So that was another bust. And then the custard was crystalized like you could tell it was old and leftover.
About the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant in a long time. Got a dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, brought the potatoes, seemed everyone knew they were out of gravy just didn't think that was important to tell the customer. Mushroom Swiss burger had 1 mushroom slice, not a whole mushroom, 1 slice. Forgot 1 shake, no Tatar sauce for the fish dinner that was advertised with Tatar sauce no lemon and the fries that came with the dinner had a total of 5 fries, waffle ice cream cone layed on the serving tray. No cheese sauce for the pretzels and cheese bites. Come on this is not hard folks. Manager stepped in to correct what he could after a couple of trips to the counter.
Parking was close to the door. The lobby was clean and the restrooms were clean. The food was good. It is handicap accessible if needed
Thus is the third time I've been here and every time I'm disappointed. Long wait times, messed up orders, and now this time...I feel like I've been cheated!! Four items...three pictured and it took over 20 minutes. The other item was my concrete mixer and even that they messed up. I asked for bananas and no bananas.Pictured is the three items: cod sandwich, small mashed potatoes and gravy and the one I'm not happy with...side of broccoli. It cost me more than $2 for that!! And there is no option for a larger side. And tonight, I was not the only one upset with wait times. Another customer waited as longer for their food and they had two slightly much larger orders. And on a side note: the outside menu board does not have all their food items...sides included. That's why I went inside this time because I wanted to see the whole menu. This store really needs to work on their times in the kitchen. It is unreal to be called a fast food restaurant and have a drive thru when wait times are way past 10-15 minutes per order. Yes, there are three different types of meat and lots of variety; but that does not justify the times. Even Sonic drive thrus are faster!!And for the record, I work at the number one fast food in a few categories in the nation. I know how quickly food needs to get out and how waiting on kitchen can be difficult for the guests. The staff at Culver's needs more people. The person at the register was not addressing new customers as they came in and took awhile to get over and take their orders. Two people doing desserts...one for drive thru and for front. More people overall could help their time in the red. It's still good food but still, work smarter not harder and of course be accurate with speed.
Okay so giving three stars because I’m easy going and these are kids in the process of living through a pandemic and overall they were pretty polite BUT: like, fellas, the boxing match the majority of the shift crew of this (Midvale) restaurant took into the parking lot last night at about 9:30 was probably unnecessary considering you guys closed soon anyways. Yes, I saw it as I pulled up into your drive through (saw the one employee still inside the restaurant who had to leave to come get you) and it’s probably the entire reason I had to wait so long for my food when I needed to get to work. Take care, guys, and no hard feelings but maybe take the fight club to a time off my work shift.
Burger was great, fries were hit and crspy.
Will not go to this Culver location again. They say discount if you have your dog with you, well we never did get the discount. Ordered two cod dinners, the cod was over cooked and hardly there. No rolls with the dinners nor any salad dressing for the salads. The sides for the dinners ie fries and cheese curds hardly existed. I don’t know what’s going on at this location because this has happened to us more than once. I suggest heading out to the Culver’s in West Valley, they appreciate your business and will not cheat you like this location does.
The place just seems to be a mess. The station where you get the ketchup, napkins was dirty, and not like something was spilled and they just hadn't gotten a chance to clean it up. But that some parts of it hadn't been cleaned well in a while. Such as the covers for the napkins which were covered in greasy dust. The eating area was also dirty. But they did provide you access to table wipes so you can clean your table. Sadly this just reinforced the feeling that the area isn't being cleaned very well as there were specks of food that had hardened to the table and you had to scrap with your nail to get them off.For me, this raised the concern that if the front of the house was this dirty what was the kitchen. But not to the point that I didn't eat there. The staff was starting to clean the area by the time we were leaving. They were just wiping it down with the same rag without any additional cleaning sprays. The burgers we ordered were alright, they were cold which was a big minus on their taste. The onion rings and fries were also cold, the only thing that seemed freshly made was the one order of cheese curds we got. I was with my mom, and she took back the onion rings to have fresh ones made. Which they were happy to do. Sadly, they did not bring them back out and by the time it was all sorted out, they were cold again. We ordered two concerts but it wasn't brought out with the order, so we let them know it was missing. About 10 to 15 minutes later and confirming with the staff two times that they still hadn't received them we started to wonder where they were. At which point they were located at the ice cream station but they were pretty melted by that point. I will not be returning after this experience.
Tasty stuff! Big fan of adding mint to their chocolate concrete, and the cheesecake bites! Truly superb! I intend to try something with the cheese sauce next time (probably the pretzel bites, but french fries also look nice).
