Cubby’s was one of my favorite places to get a salad. Today I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, which I happily saw was on the menu again. What a disappointment! I basically paid almost $14 for a box of Spring Mix, a sprinkle of goat cheese crumbles, a few pistachios and a few beets. Nothing like their old goat cheese salad. Sad to not have a good salad place anymore.
I love Cubby’s! And I’ve always had a good experience, except today. I was not happy to pay so much for a salad that wasn’t edible. The lettuce was brown and smelled so bad.
I wish the hamburger was bigger but the flavors in the food were perfect. All the different fries were great. This is one of the few places you can get a really good burger and a really good salad.
Food was decent but the price was over $40 for 2 of us. We got two burgers, shared a fry, and got two fountain drinks and the whoopie pie. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip which probably just goes back to the restaurant and not directly to the workers anyway. All we could talk about while eating was how could this cost us over $40...This is a theme lately with Cubby's and they claim it has to do with organic food they source locally but how to you explain a $3 fountain drink??? I won't be coming back. I can't afford it.
I went here for the first time and waited at the drive-thru. No response for about 8-10 minutes. The 5 cars in front of me were moving ahead, so I pulled up and tried to wait to order at the window, then the car behind me moves up and I hear "HI, can I take your order?" Now I'm stuck in line with no order taken and so I called, got the manager explained the situation and he said ok let me put you on a brief hold. I was left on hold all the way to the window where I finally hung up and ordered at the window. Its now been about 25 minutes. The guy said sorry about that, took my order and said you know what? for your trouble I will give you a cookie. Can you please pull over by the garbage bins and we will bring out your food. I did so only to have to wait another 20 minutes while they helped the 4 cars that were behind me. I ordered 2 kids meals & 2 entrees. 44 bucks. I get home after the long wait and our 2 kids meals were so small they didn't even feed 1 kid so they ended up eating half of my dinner & my wife's dinner. Good thing I had that small cookie. Needless to say, this place sucks. If your hungry, go someplace else.
I had an amazing experience at cubbies. Sam is the best worker ever. He is handsome, has strong hands, and delivers that’s 9” sub impeccably. Love u Sam.
Either this is the worst cubby’s in Utah or the whole cubby’s chain has drastically decreased their portion sizes (salads in particular). I’ve been going to cubby’s regularly for about 3 years, but just moved closest to the Midvale location and have been disappointed on each visit. Their salads are about half the size and do not come in the bowl containers they used to or other locations have, to try and hide the fact that they are way smaller? I’m not sure. After my second attempt at this location, I have to call it quits. $14 for a salad that’s only worth about $9 at the VERY best. Flavor is there but not worth your money, good chance you will be disappointed
This cubby's is literally the worst one in Utah. This is my third time coming home from an order pick up and there was a something missing. This time they forgot the steak on my steak salad. When I called to get a refund the manager didnt say sorry, was super short and hung up quickly. It's run by teens on their phones. Seriously the worst. Save yourself the money.
The experience here was amazing! The food was awesome and when there was a mix up with the order; Sam helped out and got us the fries we ordered. All of the workers were awesome and put forth the best service possible.
Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. Got my food to go, got home. Burger wasn’t cooked at all. Funny enough I’m looking at the reviews and it looks like I’m not the first to have that same problem.
