I’ve dreaded writing this review, but here we go. Went here on a Friday night. Wait time was long, but we waited. After we sat down, they put us in the back near the to go orders & no one was around us. A waitress came to help us after she said she saw us sitting there for a while without service. She said it wasn’t her table but helped us anyway. After we ordered I’m pretty sure we got forgotten about again. Waited a really long time for food to come out & I’m all about chilis, & this wasn’t that great. Potato soup & pasta was the best. Although I did ask for no bacon on my soup. Chicken tacos were not good & my friend didn’t even finish them. Chili was over cooked & overloaded with tortilla strips. Maybe it was just a bad experience at this location. On a positive note, Vicky the hostess was phenomenal!! Give that lady a raise!

Last time we were here was late last year and the food and service was just so-so. So we tried it again, starting at the reception, receptionist is very energetic. The menu looks new, although food selections I think is pretty much the same. The server was very lively and nice too. Although our food took longer than expected, the food tasted better than it used too. Restaurant seems clean and huge parking lot being shared by other business establishments nearby.

What I will say off the top is that I am appalled by the treatment that staff endures from patrons of this restaurant. I wouldn’t go out of my way to review a fast casual chain in any other circumstance than to give credit to the people working here and taking everything thrown at them in stride. I took notice of every staff member. The hostess was incredibly pleasant despite being heckled by entitled parties of 10 surprised that they were unable to be immediately seated on a Saturday night at 6pm. She made an effort to accommodate everyone and addressed patrons by the first names with the utmost respect. The wait staff were all moving quickly and greeting tables with smiles and positive energy. There was not a single bad attitude in the bunch. When we were seated at the bar, the bartender was absolutely inundated with hungry customers. She did not skip a beat getting our drink and food orders while also bantering with the rowdy groups in her section. Incredibly impressive and the food was great.

Once a year we try this Chili’s again. They keep remodeling, I assume to try to get customers back. But they just need to learn how to clean. They haven’t cleaned table top payment machines since they bought them, ten years ago. They have QR code for menu’s, I guess to help with sanitary conditions, but everything else is filthy. My kids love Chili’s but, it just isn’t what it used to be.

This place sucks…been 5 years since I’ve been to this location. Never actually got seated. Had the same issue 5 years ago that I had today. Waited for just over an hour only to have other parties called before be mine even though we had arrived way before other parties. With two smaller children this becomes very challenging. The hosts tablet had our party flashing in red as next and still others were called. Never was there a sign of any manager. I do not blame the hostess but they really should have had someone else up there and management should have had a presence upfront. This location is poorly managed and I will never walk into this location again. Chili’s used to be one of my favorite places.

We came in on Valentine's Day, which we were expecting to be busy for. My spouse ordered a cocktail and the Cajun chicken pasta, I ordered the choose two smokehouse combo and a beer. The waitress checked in on every other table regularly around us that she was assigned to, but not us. The food took forever to get out, which was fine considering how understaffed they seemed, but the Cajun pasta gave my spouse food poisoning (thank God she didn't order the shrimp one). The drinks were great, but the food made us both sick to some degree at least. I normally wouldn't claim homophobia so lightly, but we were the only lesbian couple there and we were the only two to not be regularly checked in on by our waitress. So, over all, we both got sick. My wife especially so, and the service was miserable. I wouldn't suggest coming to the Midvale location, especially when the West Valley location exists.

This is our first time doing curbside or even eating at chilis in Utah. We’ve both lived here for 7 years, and I can assure you we won’t be back. We waited for 20 minutes past our pickup time, so I called to get an ETA. However, Isabel decided to say “we only have one person on to-go, thanks” and hung up before I could even ask a question. I went into the restaurant and she walked back and forth not saying a word to anyone standing there FOR FIVE MINUTES. After that I just looked for our food and left. It Had been sitting there for 20+ minutes. And our food was burnt!!! This was the worst customer service experience. Don’t care how short staffed you are, you don’t treat paying customers this way! We won’t be eating here and we’ll make sure our friends and family boycott too.

We were greeted tonight around 8:30-9ish. We were met with a smile by an older lady. She said she was newer to the job. I don’t recall her name but she was older and had shorter hair. I just want to say she was one of the nicest people I have ever met and I hope the best for her and chilis! Love you guys I will be returning and hopefully I can catch her name. I’d love to give her a tip just because of how nice she was to us.

Wonderful experience y daughter Birthday and she's having a very good time. Wonderful service

I tried ordering online and it was not an available option for this (Midvale) location. So, I called (like the website said to do) and I was on hold for 5 minutes. During the hold time, I was asked 3 separate times to press “1” to speak to someone and to continue to hold. Finally, at the 5 minute mark, the recording changed and tells me “experiencing an error” and it hangs up on me. I downloaded the app to try it that way (I did not want to download the app) and they are not available for online orders. Everything “Chili’s” related told me to use the app or call, which I’ve received no service. Highly disappointed! Do better Chili’s!
