I’m pretty disappointed with my pizza… I came into the store at around 9:15 pm and made my order, after waiting til 9:40 I received my pizza which had an entire 1 - 2 inches burnt to a crisp. Pure black.I’ll post the picture. After voicing my concern I was told this is normal with the gluten free crusts and there’s nothing they can do besides refund the pizza… They said it’s because in order to cook the middle all the way, the edges burn. I’ve had many gluten free pizzas here and that is not normal. They may be crispy but not a significant amount of the actual pizza black. I understand wanting to close the store and not be there all night but still, I just wanted a pizza that wasn’t burnt.
This is a very difficult place to give an accurate rating. Approximately every other time we’ve ordered pizza it’s been a 4 to 5 star pizza. On the other occasions it’s been a 2 to 3 star pizza; so very inconsistent. Here’s the clincher, tonight I ordered a pizza and was told they were kind of busy so it would be 35 to 45 minutes before we would get our pizza. After it had been approximately 90 minutes and no pizza I called. They said they were sorry and our pizza had just come out of the oven and they would have it to us in 10 to 15 minutes. I said okay. After 30 minutes and still no pizza I called and told them to cancel my order and refund my card. They said they were sorry and they would do that. So my wife and I headed out to get a burger. While we were out I receive a call and text from the delivery person and get notice from my security camera. Anyway close to 2 and 1/2 hours after I placed the order they show up to deliver it even though I’d called and got the order canceled. So to summarize: inconsistent food, not very good at estimating delivery time and poor communication amongst the workers after i canceled my order. This place needs to close for a few weeks and train there staff to achieve consistency in their product and better communication skills amongst their employees. This place has some potential but until they fix their issues my recommendation is to AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Going from the street to the store was much like pushing aside the final folds of clothing barring the entrance to Narnia. I visited on a particularly dreary afternoon, having ordered a large pizza ~15 minutes prior, and was absolutely blown away by the liveliness of the location, the availability and friendliness of the associates, and the professionalism of the cashier working the front. All of these factors combined left my mood improved significantly for the remainder of the day, they likely could have served me cardboard and I would still have benefitted from the experience. But cardboard it was not! Excellently rolled thin crust, topped lavishly with tomato sauce and cheese and adorned with pepperoni, I can scarce remember a pizza I enjoyed more thoroughly. Highly recommend the place. Keep up the good work :)
Lucky slice had a fun ambiance! Our pizza was accidentally given to a table a couple tables down from us. Unfortunately they'd eaten the breadsticks before they realized that it wasn't their order haha! They had some fun options, but the pizza was just okay to me at least. Not much sauce and more of a New York style thin crust. If that's your style, then you will probably love it!
I’m so sad to be writing this review! We have been loyal Lucky Slicers for years now. Usually once a week. It’s been the only place in Logan to get good gluten free pizza. Sometime in the last few months the GF dough changed and it’s HORRIBLE. We could instantly tell a difference. Even the color of the dough is different, it has little flecks of something now. We tried it a second time just to make sure we weren’t imagining it and could barely finish the pizza. Hopefully whoever makes kitchen calls reads this and brings back the old dough! Otherwise we will be having to drive out of the valley for good GF pizza ?
I was way impressed with the Pad Thai pizza slice I got. They absolutely nailed it.The atmosphere they created inside the restaurant rocks. It's kind of a hipster, civilized, punk rock kind of thing.I hate how expensive pizza restaurants can be, and Lucky Slice is no comparable in price to many of the nicest ones. But if there's a pizza anywhere that's really worth $5 a slice, I think it might be here.
Gluten free! Dairy free! PIZZA!!!!! Like what! Vegan options as well. Anyone can eat here! Hooray!
Fantastic pizza! I am usually a big carnivore, but their vegetarian pizza is dope!
Pizza here is really good! I like the thin crust style they have. I love the atmosphere of the dining room. Only reason I'm knocking off a star is I feel like they need to up their bread stick game. Maybe I just got a bad batch but it was really chewy and dried out.
This place is the definition of hit or miss. They are either absolutely fantastic, or the most greasy soggy disgusting pizza in the valley. There is no in between. One star review is after 3 bad times in a row. These guys cook their THIN CRUST pizza in a way that it is soggy and full of grease. Do not give this place your money.
