The last few times that I've been to this restaurant the pizza has been terrible. It is well cooked on the outside but never cooked in the middle. I had the same experience today and asked to have my pizza cooked the entire way through. Pizza was returned to my booth and was the exact same. I have been going to this establishment for 30 plus years and now see that it's time to move on. Customer service was terrible as well.
We got the lunch specials which consists of a 6” pizza, a salad, and garlic bread. The pizza was tiny and mostly crust. It was bland and the sauce was cooked out and my toppings (spinach and fresh tomato) were literally just set on top after it was cooked. They didn’t even use grape tomatoes, it was a whole slice of tomato like you would expect on a sandwich. Also they charge $1.25 for each extra topping, which for me was 6 pieces of spinach. The only redeeming part of our meal was the garlic bread which was actually pretty good. The salad was a massive pile of soggy iceberg lettuce delivered on a plate. It was impossible to mix in the dressing without knocking everything off the plate, but wasn’t a big problem as it turned out to not be worth eating. This place felt like a joke and I won’t be returning. I’m absolutely stunned that they’ve been open for 63 years. Based on other reviews, it sounds like things have really gone downhill the last few years, but being my first experience here, I was extremely disappointed.
This was our first time coming here. The parking lot is very small and half is designated for takeout pickup so we had to park out on the street. It was hard to tell which counter to approach when we entered the building, there's one at the front and one at the side. I approached an employee and explained that this was our first time there and we weren't sure of the ordering procedure but the question fell on deaf ears. Throughout our time there it was almost like we were in the Twilight Zone when conversing with the workers. They all didn't seem to be able to muster even the most basic level of assistance. The food arrived at the table with no silverware and no straws and no way to get our own. I had a calzone. It was watery and stuffed full of undercooked green pepper. I ate half and threw the rest away, it was kind of gross. My partner had pasta and the serving was small for the price. Maybe this place was good at some point in the past but all I experienced was truly bizarre employee behavior and expensive sub par food. Really really bizarre employees, its like they were secretly space aliens trying to blend in with the human race or something. Don't even bother with this place.
Best Dine in pizza experience in Cache Valley! Pizza is great, ham and cheese salad is phenomenal, and their garlic bread hot off of that old garlic bread machine is just unbeatable!! Location is awesome, right at the mouth of Logan Canyon, surrounded by the Utah State University campus and the Logan golf course and country club.
The ham and cheese salad is literally just ham and cheese on mixed lettuce. It was not worth the money. Did not taste good and garlic bread was very soggy. Not very good customer service.
Used to be my favorite place to go, however, I may not ever come back. The to go Hispanic guy was extremely rude. He pulled my pizza out of the warmer, and left it on the counter for at least 10+ minutes while ha made the cheese bread. When I asked him if he could please put my stuff back where it can get warm, he completely ignored me, so I had to shout at the guy making the dough. He was happy to do it. It was another 5-6 minutes before my cheese bread was done. When he gave me my bread, he was so rude!! Really disappointed!!
My wife and I love this place and eat here fairly often. The ham is cut up very fine before it’s placed on the pizza, making it even more delicious. They have some great deals on meals. I’d give 6 stars if I could.
Thx for lunch the pizza was good and ? our order got messed up but oh well it was all about being with family….
The ham and cheese salad with no beets, with ranch! And a ham and black olive pizza! ?
People were extremely polite... they even offered me a free drink for my child...good music.... however, the pizza needed more time in the oven... cheese did not hold things together.... green peppers felt fresh... like in a salad... not roasted... the shredded ham felt apart when I took a slide .... I was hungry so I ate it half of it while talking to my wife...I could eat anything cause is god's food.... but I'll never come back .... sorry if I make someone angry but I am very used to papa john's and domino's and I was expecting something similar. :(
