We love the ice cream at Charlies, but tonight we experienced terrible customer service. Although we were the only ones in line, it took more than 15 minutes to order and receive our shakes. We had to repeat our order thrice due to the employees talking to one another as we were ordering. When we finally reached the window, we waited over 10 minutes before someone showed up and asked us if we had paid yet (we had not - there was no one there). We then asked again if the topping requested was on the shake and the employee did not respond, just handed the shake back to another employee to fix the order. I’m really hoping tonight was just a fluke!
Shared a banana split. 1st time there, girl who took our order sucked at explaining what our options were. Dined in so we heard the girl running the drive thru explain much more clearly to other guests. Ultimately ended up with a soupy mess of vanilla and banana globs with fudge. Ice cream seems like it was never cold enough, I know it was made fresh but why is it soup the second you recieve it? That's nasty. I'll give them another shot but have lowered my expectations greatly
I love that their ice cream is creamier and smoother than most other ice cream! The raspberry cones are great. It's always a tough decision between here and Aggie Ice Cream. I like the soft serve here.
The red Raspberry soft serve is yummy. I really love it dipped in chocolate. Hand dipped ice cream is yummy too. Service is fast & friendly.
It is delicious. Only reason for 4 star is the Ice Cream melts very fast. Shakes are straight liquid within 10 minutes.
Kinda disappointed that the dining area is closed. I don't know for how long, I did not ask. We came here for my mom's birthday, a bunch of us! We got back in our cars and got into the drive thru. We ordered all kinds of shakes and met back at our house to enjoy. The service was pretty fast and very much friendly! The shakes were bomb! Highly recommend Charlie's!
Best ice cream in Utah, I moved to Utah in 2020 and have tried so many shops that the locals have recommended but this is the best.Drive through is open and lobby is closed but worth the wait in line.
My brother was taking my mom here for her birthday. We tagged along anticipating greatness. We arrived a few minutes early but my brother was close behind. We had pleasant greetings and walked too the store. To our disappointment the dining area was closed! It looked like possible construction going on inside. So we loaded back into the cars and went to the drive thru. Everyone got a treat and we met back at our house to enjoy.
Yummy and great options! Take all my guests here and they love it too.
Great for a late night treat! Took my daughter after an event at her school and had a great time. Can't wait for lobby to open again.
