After two days of traveling to help relocate my son and daughter-in-law to Lehi,UT for a new job, our first restaurant experience was at Summit Pizza Co @ Traverse. Bustling with families and workers on their lunch break, I thought we would have a long wait and not be able to find a seat. However, from the friendly greeting from the young lady taking our order to the ample seating, we were pleasantly surprised when our pizza was delivered piping hot to our table in under 10 minutes.When we saw the pizza, with ginormous slices of pepperoni, we knew that we had chosen wisely. The pizza was a little on the thicker side, closer to a pan pizza than a traditional crust. From the cheese to the sauce to the toppings (my son commented that this was the best pepperoni he had ever tasted on a pizza), everything about this pizza was delicious.If you are in the mood for pizza and are within driving distance, I would highly recommend you check out Summit Pizza Co.
I always wanted to try this pizza place because of the “doodles”. They have 3 different types and we tried 2 of them. The garlic and butter and then the cinnamon roll for dessert. We also ordered a meat lovers pizza which was better than average. The problem was they had a young man working the counter, and I say young because he didn’t look any older than 12. I don’t know why they place a young kid to work with customers at the front line, when they hardly communicate. This young man was so hard to understand because he spoke so softly and always had a “deer in the headlights look”. We were also not impressed with the fact that it seemed like a bunch of kids working the restaurant and basically just entertaining their friends. When we were served our pizza and the garlic doodles, they only brought us 1 plate. They didn’t say anything about our cinnamon doodles, so we had to ask for those. They also kept spraying something on the tables to clean them, but it was right next to our food. It really bothered me that they didn’t have the common sense to just spray a clean cloth and the wipe down the table. I have no idea what was in the spray bottle, could have been bleach, disinfectant or water, but I didn’t enjoy the spray coming in contact with my food.
Super great pizza & the cheese doodles are SOOO delicious! I’ve literally stopped in multiple times just to order those alone!! They even have dessert ones too! Love this place!
Really good pizza and the cinnamon doodles were equally excellent. It was all reasonably priced. Place was a bit crowded but I can see why. They have a lot of menu options and we’ll be back next time we’re in the area.
There are many choices for pizza in the area, but Summit is our favorite! The pesto chicken pizza is fantastic, the kids love classic cheese and pepperoni, and the doodles are a huge hit with everyone.The staff are friendly, pleasant, and appear to enjoy working there. The wait times are appropriate, and our order has always been correct.Some great dining in the area, but don’t skip out on Summit. You won’t be disappointed!
They were as good as we remembered. Was in the area shopping in person. Had to order and wasn't disappointed. The Doodles are a must get. Cheese with dinner and raspberry for dessert. The quality of ingredients and crust texture and flavor are worth the drive. Ordered through the app. I had tweeks on each pizza ordered and each came out perfectly. Thanks for a great dinner.
Oh my…this place is absolutely amazing. Got some Pumpkin Doodles and let’s just say it’s a good thing this is just a seasonal product because if these were available year round I wouldn’t be eating anything else. But if the Doodles are a precursor to their pizza then I’ve got a new spot. Plus, Buckin Root Beer y’all.
We had such a great experience tonight at Summit Pizza Co!!! The staff were so friendly and helpful especially the lady who appeared to be the manager. We were a group of 10 and the service was quick and the food all came out hot and delicious. We had an Alfredo, a ranch chicken, pesto, meat lovers, a "build your own" as well as cheese doodles, jalapeno doodles and raspberry doodles. The portions were great, prices were very reasonable, and overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will be back for sure!
Tis the Season so I had to try their pumpkin doodles. My first visit there. Not the best parking options. They didn't have any ready so they made them fresh for me! About 10 mn wait at most since it before the dinner rush. My family lives for their doodles. I'd had one once before but the pumpkin ones sold ot for me. They are not all uniform so be ready for odd sizes but all deliciousness. They provided the doodles in a box and everything else in a bag. Good customer service and the team looked like they enjoyed working together. Will have to go back to try thr pizza sometime.
Best pizza spot in Utah. I have had almost every pizza in Utah and this is the only place where they actually cook there dough all the way through and I didn't get sick after. The staff is very friendly there is a lady who seems like she runs the place and she is always working hard Everytime we go in there people like that make a company shine. You won't regret coming here.
