First off, the product is really tasty. It’s fun to watch the ice cream made and it’s creamy and delicious. However, the place is FILTHY! Grimy windows, walls, and all the tables were sticky and gross. Also, the two girls working were working their tails off to accommodate all the people but the wait was still rather long. The product is pricier than normal, hire a janitor staff and staff it with an extra person. Then the place would get 5 stars.
I kept expecting to see a rat run across the floor. The dirt and grime reminded me of hole in the walls I've eaten at in Asia. I'd be embarrassed if I owned this place. The ice cream is good, hope I don't get GI issues from the lack of cleanliness.
The idea of this is fun, and there is a sense of theatre watching your ice-cream being made, however I don't think the end product warrants the price point. It's not substantially better than mass produced ice-cream, and the toppings all looked a little tired. I've eaten much better ice-cream and gelato in many other places, often for a lower cost.
Not happy with being served while employee was eating their ice cream while making other orders for customers. It wasn't like they'd wait until they had nobody there. It was, take a bite, make the order, take another bite finish the order. I hope they give breaks because maybe it was a busy day where she didn't get a break which I hope is not the case. For this reason I was wishing the mask mandate was in place because this is incredibly unsanitary. I continued to order because we promised this to my son. Had that not been the case I would have walked out of there.
Really surprised at the quality and deliciousness of their product. Got the number 5, forgot what it was called, but it tasted like a beautiful Banana Creme Pie, or a creamy banana pudding. :)They also have a few selections that of soda creation that remind you of Swig. And, you can create your own flavor of ice cream by asking them to combine other flavors in the nitrogen bowl.Absolutely will be back, for another number 5!! :P
We love Sub zero. Their staff is always friendly. and willing to give reccomendations. The choices are endless. I felt bad, they were close to closing time and we really wanted some yummy icecream, I tipped them well and they were still happy to help.
i am very displeased with the service here. I ordered a peanut butter bond ice cream. I found raspberries and what I think was blueberries in my ice cream. Which i did not ask to be put in. It didn’t taste good. The two girls working seemed to be bothered that we were there and one of them was letting her family behind the counter. It was gross. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
Took our family here on Saturday night. The store wasn't very clean and seemed cluttered. The two girls working acted as though we were bothering them and were less than helpful. Their hair was hanging over the ice cream and one girl coughed into her hand and then continued to make our ice cream. It was expensive and horrible customer service. We will NOT be going back.
Sub zero is a totally different, and totally superior, ice cream experience. Like other places, you can customize your base flavors and mix-ins, but at sub zero they you start with a liquid cream base and the entire mixture is rapidly cooled with liquid nitrogen. The result is a super creamy and smooth ice cream that you really can’t run anywhere else. Totally love it.
A great experience for families to bond and watch science combine with a tasty treat at the end of the week. Great proportions and tasted really good. The two girls that took our order and made our ice cream were really nice and did a great job, the only thing that’s holding me back from leaving a 5 star review is that there was another employee on their phone behind the counter with her friends which made me a little disappointed because they shouldn’t be responsible to have a job if their priorities while working are their friends. But in the end it was a great experience and will be back soon for more memories with my family.
