You cannot go wrong with Slapfish. Genuine crab, lobster, fish, and shrimp. They have quite a selection of choices to get food. I typically get the clam chowder fries (with cheese and bacon) and the surf ‘n turf burger. Make sure you do it right by sprinkling a bit of Old Bay on it all. Trust me, you’ll walk away full and very satisfied. It’s great. I will absolutely eat here again.
So came here today because I wanted to try something new and seafood sounded like a good idea. Place is clean, the employee at the register was nice and knowledgeable. I ordered the Chowder Fries and the Street Tacos. The chowder fries were ok. Generous portion for the $9. They were ok. Nothing great. The tacos however were not a good value. For $5 per taco, as you can see in the picture, there is more tortilla than fish. In fact, I could see the fish. It’s unfortunate because the sauce was good but after two bites, the fish is all gone. Not worth the $5 per street taco price tag. I don’t playing extra for fresh seafood or in this case, seafood but overall, this place is overpriced for ok food. Wouldn’t recommend.
Stood in line for 20min, not one order was taken. They literally ignored about 20 of us in line to work on To Go orders.
We've gone to several Slapfish locations and they are all wonderful! They all have fresh, delicious food and great service. This is one of the few places I've gone that has had such consistently good service across all of it's locations. Highly recommend their fish and chips basket - it's always a delight.
The food was very good! We shared the clam chowder and bacon covered fries and we each had a fish taco. I would highly recommend the fries! The service was also very friendly and the food came out fast.
Nice change of pace from other counter serve restaurants, especially if you like seafood in salads, sandwiches, or tacos!
5 stars because it's great to have a fish and chips place and Utah county finally. It is odd that the double fish and chips is $4 more than the single, but if you want to make it a triple it's $6 more than the double. The clam chowder is small but a good size kind of pricey. I would recommend more than one tartar sauce with a double fish and chips that only comes with one. Also the tartar sauce is very salad dressing like. It's not very thick. And I prefer a more white and thicker tartar sauce.
This place has really good sea food. The fish, shrimp, and lobster has always been great in all of the dishes I've tried. The lobster "surf n turf" burger has SO MUCH lobster on it. The shrimp burrito is packed and will be messy when you eat it, so don't forget the napkins!The drink selection is a standard fountain machine. I enjoy my fish with tea, but it is not available.The fries are crisp and I love them.The tables are sticky and feel dirty. They look clean, but if you catch a glare they look dirty. We didn't go when it was busy so they're either not washing them well enough or that's just how they are.
Have tried to call in takeout three different occasions and they never answer the phone. There was a pickup and then hang up. Tables are not cleaned off and garbage all over the floor. Food is better than average but I think after this experience there are better alternatives given the lack of service and cleanliness.
