It was such a pleasant surprise to find this place! I went in thinking to try a donut or two, but found they had so many fun flavors! I decided to get many of their donuts to take to a family event later that day. Not only are these donuts beautifully crafted- they taste amazing as well! My family and I LOVED them and we were so excited about the variety!I personally tasted and samples quite a few. If you like Boston creme donuts- this place makes a good one! To my surprise and delight they also make a very yummy powdered Boston creme donut! I also tried the creme brulee donut which was SO fun. There was a donut I don't know the name of but it was glazed and had a chocolate interior that almost tasted like a brownie! It was SOOo good! If you like old fashioned glazed donuts this is my new favorite place to get them.Another great thing about this place is the customer service. I was having a bit of a rough day and Allen was working there that day, and was very friendly and helpful. It brightened my day!Delicious! Highly recommend.
Took my family to get some bagels and donuts. We went just before noon and the selection was still great. We got 7 different bagels and some donuts. I was really blown away by the different variety. He had creme brulee, milk and cereal, vanilla coconut cake, naked donuts and so many more. All of them looked great I was sad I could try them all. I have never seen bagel bites before. Just like donut holes he had bagel holes so you can try all the different flavor of bagels. The bagels were fresh along with the donuts. Then as we were about to leave, the owner gave us a box of donut holes! Totally worth it.
Amazing donuts and staff. Stopped by here for a Saturday morning snack with the family. They have such a wide range of flavors that everyone was able to pick one that they loved. I was super impressed that most everything is made from scratch as well. My husband Loved loved loved the peanut butter one.The staff is incredible to. In a world where customer service is falling apart it was so nice to deal with such friendly staff. Alan is so passionate about what he does as well.
Stopping here turned today into the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. LITERALLY. I AM SPEECHLESS. Such an incredible selection of donuts and bagels. One of the best places I’ve ever visited since they day I was born and I will be back A LOT. I think we’re besties now? I can’t even adequately describe the great energy and kindness of the owner here, plus the baked assortment is INCREDIBLE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for everyone that can come visit!
I only had the old fashioned. The cake was perfect but It had a unusual taste. The owner said they fry in coconut oil which I think was the reason. I appreciate trying to make donuts healthier but if I'm going to eat a donut, I'm not eating it as a health food. I would rather have the flavor I expect.
We've heard great things about Lovers, so after a long week we decided to treat ourselves. With kids and another COVID spike in the area, we appreciate online ordering and curbside pickup, both of which they offer. Unfortunately, if you order online, you don't get to choose your donuts. This makes it easier on their end, but was slightly disappointing as a customer. We put in our order and selected curbside pickup. We were instructed to call the store when we arrived and they'd bring our order out.We arrived just as I got a text saying my order was ready. I called... No answer. I called a total of seven times, and nobody ever picked up. If I hadn't already paid, I probably would have gone somewhere else. Instead, I got my kiddo out of the car and went inside to wait. Service was slow and there was a decent line, so I went up to the counter. After one or two minutes they acknowledged me and asked if I had a pickup order then asked my name. They handed it to me without another word. I have to say that I was annoyed that curbside pickup was advertised but not honored and that the employees weren't very friendly. Maybe they were tired because Saturdays are extra busy? I don't know.Luckily, the product was much better than the service. The donuts we've tried so far have been delicious—the strawberry one is great. The donut holes are some of the best we've had. My daughter kept asking for more, and I'm trying to figure out how to smuggle the donut holes to my closet to enjoy in peace...I'd consider going again because the donuts really were tasty, but I'll probably wait until I feel comfortable going inside with my whole family. I'd rather be able to pick out my own donut selection and be prepared to get kids out of the car.
I loved ! The bagels are delicious, the showcase is very colorful (inviting) and the service is excellent! I will definitely go back and try the donuts! It reminded me of the bakeries of my Brazil.
Went for 1 donut left with four and an everything bagel. Everything looked so good and tasted even better. The donuts are fresh and flavourful with so many flavor options. But don't forget the bagels for you savory lovers! I will be going back for more bagels and donuts.
We always love this donut shop. The donuts are unique and fresh and although the price is higher it is 1000% worth it. You definitely get what you pay for and the flavors are comparable to what you find in something more destination donut shop like a voodoo donuts or hurtz donuts. This is a local place we love supporting and the owner/ manager (not sure which he is)is awesome, super nice and congenial.
Best donuts I’ve had in a long time! I’m so glad Lover’s donut shop is here! I wanted to try everything on one visit , but there’s so much variety! We tried the dozen glazed,twists, homer was a pink frosted dream, taste like strawberries & the lemon cream omg! We’ll try bagels next time? I’d add a photo, but we ate them all . The chefs / staff are wonderful ? hope you guys have great success @Lovers Donuts Bagels & Coffee
