Hadn't had a Chili-dog in a while .. so I ordered the chili cheese dog ... Whoa! .. was NOT expecting that! Best Chili dog I'd had in a long time! The fries were hot and tasty! The grilled cheese, though not the best, was made with REAL Cheddar .. and average. No Coke products available, but Pepsi & Dr Pepper viable substitutes. No wait, but tables were pretty much filled when by the time we finished eating. Server was very attentive & friendly .. a positive thing in my book nowadays.
Classic burger was terrible with excessive sauce and shredded lettuce and bun but not a lot of meat and none of it tastes good. Shakes were handed to us completely melted just like it was a drink you sipped out of a glass instead of a thick cold delicious shake. Our server may have been new cause they were very slow getting orders out and seemed confused about putting in orders and remembering who ordered what, and that’s fine if they are new but at the end it took forever to get the check cause they somehow lost our order and asked for the order again and when they came back it seemed way way overpriced and there was no way to actually know if they charged us correctly because the receipt wasn’t itemized and none of them seemed like they knew what they were doing. Overall it was very poor service quality and the food was basically inedible it was made so poorly. Never going back
Terrible service. We have been waiting a while at their to go area as instructed, obviously being ignored as multiple employees have been there. Finally, when their host points it out to the manager, she ignores him. We eventually just left without being able to order.They also have a post at their to go area that discourages complaints despite the bad service.
I love Johnny Rockets. Unfortunately I had a subpar experience at this location. The biggest problem was that my burger came out cold. Cold edges, barely lukewarm middle. Even though the place was not busy, the server did not check on me for a long time. By then, I had lost interest in my cold burger and didn't want to wait for a redo. Besides that, the ambience was lacking. No music was playing, and the jukeboxes were not functional. To be fair, they probably would have redone the burger if I tracked them down and was willing to wait.. But whatever. Off my list.
Food was good. Restaurant was kind of dirty. It definitely could have been cleaner but it was disgusting. Service was pretty good although training someone should be better since we had a trainee that was really not good at all and the main server kept taking over. Jukebox on the tables were for display only. I remember other Johnny rockets where jukeboxes actually worked.
Took my boys and my youngest was very excited about the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. Food was very good. Thank you for the experience, Johnny Rockets ?.
We had lunch at the Lehi, Traverse Mountain Outlet stores location for my mom's birthday. As I was looking through my Starving Student discount card while waiting to be seated I was informed that they do not honor them. The card lists several discounts for Johnny Rockets at all Utah locations. I believe businesses should fulfill agreements that they have published, especially ones that have limits and expiration dates. I was not offered anything to change my negative opinion. We used to love the bountiful servings at Johnny Rockets, like the generous sides included with their burgers. Now nothing is included. I understand that times are hard for restaurants but fulfill your offers and don't sign up for the next round if you don't think the advertisement is worth it. At least offer an alternative. We didn't just leave because of the birthday celebration and I had a regular burger. The burger was good all lonely on its little plate for $6.99. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the little burger did taste good.
I first want to say the food was pretty good, it was our first time trying Johnny Rockets so not much to compare it to. The shakes were very thin and we had asked for extra think shakes. That might have been due to the language barrier with our waiter.However the service was very lacking, we had been traveling all day and not familiar with the area. So we ignored the first of the red flags of the poor service due to being tired and not finding much options around our hotel outside of Burgers.We waited to be acknowledged and seated for about 5 minutes. Once seated we waited again for about 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order. Yet another 5 minute wait to receive water by the first person who shoved them on table and walked away. We felt relieved when someone else came to take our order. That was a smooth process. Had to repeat a couple of things due to a slight language barrier, but overall a pleasant experience. But then came the wait again. About 30 minutes to get our shakes and food came right after. I had ordered chili tot and didn’t catch the waiter before he walked off to ask for a fork. After several attempts to flag down someone else because in the midst of this our waiter changed uniforms, we ask the waitress that brought our drinks for a fork. About 3 minutes later she comes back with a knife and scurried off before we could ask for more water. After a few more minutes our waiter reappears and we get water. We finish eating then wait another 10 minutes while our waiter is again MIA. When he reappears we quickly ask for the check before he disappeared again. He brings us the check and again disappears. Ended up taking the check to the counter after he didn’t come back. At the counter there is a sign saying that they think their staff is pretty awesome and that they ask that people do not use unkind words to them. I was so upset at the time I didn’t get a picture of it. I can understand not wanting to hear unkind things having worked in restaurants and retailers most of my life. The general public can be very mean at times, but it is frustrating when the service was so lacking. They didn’t appear to be busy until the end of our visit. Most of the time it was us and one other table in the restaurant at the time. I hope they were just having an off day and that this isn’t their norm. When I did give the check to the first waitress at the counter she barely acknowledged us. No smiles seen by anyone the entire time and barley any kindness toward the customers. Very sad experience overall, especially for a place that is located in a what appears to be a very popular mall and have signage asking for kindness towards their staff.
I always love eating at Johnny Rockets! Food was great. They got us in quickly and we were finished eating and out of there in not too much time. I always love their burgers and fries. You've always got to top it off with a chocolate shake.
They're shakes are so amazing. Everytime me and my friends go to he mall we have to go or else it's it's waste of a trip. Even if we all get a pair of shoes lol. I highly recommend the strawberry oreo shake. It's to die for.
