Be real careful…. We bought a whole grilled chicken and it was not even cooked. That to me looks like profits are more important than quality. We paid $30 to just throw our food away. It is tasty but I only wished I would’ve been able to actual have a good size meal… instead we just got the two tights and wings (even though we paid for the whole chicken) as family dinner.
Update as of 3/18/22- We have been here MANY times, but this last time was a bit disappointing. The guac wasn't seasoned much- needs more salt and more lime (but I guess I understand why they don't do that, cause people like theirs differently). I got three tacos and my husband got the carnitas chimichanga, and my carnitas taco and his chimichanga were REALLY dried out, to where parts needed to be spit out. My daughter's fries were almost over fried, seriously overcooked, almost like a cracker. Hopefully next time will be better.Today was the second visit we have had and it was great, once again! We were blown away the first time. First visit I got carnitas, chicken and Al pastor tacos and my husband got the carne asada burrito. The burrito was awesome and my tacos were too, but the chicken was just chicken so I don't recommend that. Got a quesadilla for our son and it was great and filling. They give free chips!!!! Finally a place with free chips and a salsa bar! Salsa bar is okay. Today we got the carnitas chimichanga and the carne asada nachos. Carne asada nachos were AMAZING while the chimichanga was good, but not great. Too many beans, to where it overpowered the taste of the carnitas. But the carne asada meat here is delicious. So reasonably priced and great options! Our new fav Mexican place. Our old fav closed and they had the best chimichanga we have ever had, which is why else Mexicense's is alright and not great. But we will definitely come here again and again!

Excellent food, great service and huge portions! We got the Molcajete and it was awesome. Diane was nice and really helpful and helped us enjoy our meal even more with her great suggestions. My only request is that they allow tipping on Credit cards, I didn't have any cash on hand and these workers were awesome!

Worth the wait. You will wait but seriously good food, good chips. Either call ahead and order or go in order and drive around to take care of an errand or two then come back for your food.
As a visitor to Lehi I cannot understand any valid one star review. We love good Mexican food and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this cafe. The workers were attentive and earnest, the food delicious, and the salsa bar tasty and well stocked. We shared the restaurant with numerous Spanish speaking local contractors of Mexican descent and all seemed to enjoy their food as well. Draw your own conclusions about authenticity! Saturday lunch hour was a bustling time but we were served promptly. I loved their take on fish tacos and are ready to dig deeper into their varied menu. Definitely give it a try.
I ordered tacos Al pastor and the they had specks of meat, so much cilantro and onions and a huge chunk of pineapple. Took 40 minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasn’t that full. The Al pastor seemed fried. The chicken was still raw. We had a very bad experience.
