We went here as a larger group. I ordered the katsu chicken bento box (lunch special). This was nothing special. The four pieces of sushi was the best part, the chicken was dry. My wife ordered pineapple curry. She enjoyed it, but had to ask for pineapple chunks later as it was not brought out when the food was served. The service was good for a large group.
Their fried tofu is seriously the best! So tasty with just the right texture to it.Their yellow curry is also to die for. These are my two top favorite items, though if I'm being totally honest, I haven't been disappointed by anything on their menu. :) I definitely recommend them!
Today was my first time here, and now I'm very excited to have a great Sushi place so close.First, the staff was very friendly and helpful.Second, the sushi was AWESOME! I had the Black Dragon and Fireworks rolls along with a side of Miso Soup. Each were a large portion and tasted very good. The Fireworks roll had a good level of spice. They are also very reasonably priced. Their lunch specials are great deals. I will be returning often to try new items!
Don't go for a late dinner and don't go for the pho. Overall not an exceptionally clean and welcoming place. The front end and service staff are teenagers who don't seem to care. On a Saturday night, we walked in at about 8:50 PM and got seated right away by a host. A waiter promptly came by and told us we had only 7 minutes to order or they would not serve us. I almost walked out right then, but we really wanted pho. And nowhere else was open past 9:00. We ordered some teas, but it didn't come with hot water until we asked for it. Pho came out and it was awful. A big mess of noodles and very little broth. The noodles had the taste and consistency of packaged ramen. The meats were dry and tough. Didn't finish it. Many better options around for better food and service.
This was worth a shot! We tried both Thai and sushi. We tried their BBQ Pork buns and Green curry! The curry was at my threshold of spicy but it was tasty and fresh! I get the Mango Sticky Rice whenever I go to a Thai restaurant ? This one was tasty. As for the sushi, we had lots of tasty options. My favorite was the Fiesta. The prices were decent (Traditional rolls are lower than average restaurants) and we went for their lunch special. Staff was friendly.
I was a little unsure about this place. At first glance, the Denny's-style interior plus a hole-in-the-wall feel had me second- and third-guessing my decision to take my date here. I halfway expected my food to be served in a Styrofoam take-out container. I'm happy to say that my first impression was very, very wrong. Sure, it's not some super-fancy, ambience-driven eatery, so if you're looking for that, go someplace else. East Moon turned out to be one of those hidden gems you find on occasion. The food was clearly their focus. It was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Oh, and the restrooms were some of the cleanest that I've ever seen. I will definitely be returning.
This place is one of my favorite spots. However tonight I was let down on a curbside order. First they forgot my fried rice which is extra and then they wouldn’t answer the phone for me to come get it. The food wasn’t as good as it usually is, I wanted to believe it was because they were busy with valentines but I’ve been there on busier days and it’s never been like this. If this was my first time there I wouldn’t go back. I really like this place and I hope they step their game back up… I’ll try it again in the future, I just hope it’s not like this again
I’ve been coming here for the past year and as someone who considered herself well versed in good sushi, this place is exceptional for how landlocked we are - their other entrees like the eggplant and panang curry have never disappointed either, and it’s it’s quite rare to find such exceptional Thai food in a small town. Very fresh too!! Keep doing what you’re doing, guys!
Delicious fresh sushi- great healthy options and most dishes taste very authenticWe all had a great meal & the service was incredible. We will definitely be returning!
I've never been here and I'm glad I stopped! The massaman curry was excellent. The Tom Kha was medium, and with no lime. The sushi was also just medium (I only tried the sunset roll) but it was a pleasant visit. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
