Prompt friendly service. There was a minimal wait time to be seated. I took two 16 year old "big" boys and we all left very well fed! Our food was exactly to order and so delicious. Military and Veterans get discounts here - bring ID. This was an outstanding late lunch/early dinner. I got my money's worth and then some. Please tip your servers well. They work hard!
Great food and great service but be prepared to wait. I have been to this location multiple times and have waited 50min to over an hour each time. They will text you when seating is available and the mall is close so that's a plus. Had a sirloin steak, medium and they hit it right on the money! Broccoli for some reason has always been a disappointment as it is often under cooked. Overall a great place to eat but again be prepared to wait.
So I ordered today online from the Layton location and was told it would be ready at 715 I ordered at 550. Then my order was not ready tell 751 a while two hours when I was waiting at the restaurant I saw a few groups go in eat and leave in the almost and hour I was waiting. Then to top it off I ordered 12 rolls only reason I go to Texas Roadhouse and was given none. I checked my bag and noticed it and then asked the worker for them and they said they don’t have rolls. They got the manager and the manager said if I want them I would have to wait another 30 min and they didn’t have enuff. I then asked a couple leaving the restaurant and asked how many times they had and they said 8. I was then given 4 rolls. Only thing manager would do is refund my rolls. Thanks for 2 hours wasted
Our first time here, even though we have lived here 5 years. I think because when Im near it is always busy.Finally found a reason to eat here. We were later in the evening and the place was packed on a Saturday night. The staff never stop, they made me tired just watching them.The energy is loud when full and made it hard to hear Rosie at times. Despite their energy level they were spot on. Rosie checked in on us periodically, not too much and not too little. She kept up on the bread, drinks and refills. She earned her tip from us.We even had a quick visit at the end of our meal from the floor supervisor.Food was delicious, cooked the way we requested. I've never been much of a steak person but this was melt in your mouth good. ?The styling and decor of the building is reminiscent of a clean ranch building with tributes to race car drivers and all branches of our military. They even play fun matching music videos to the music.Speaking of clean, keeping it clean is priority. As the night wore on we were able to witness the careful care to sanitize menus, clean tables benches and sweep.
Great family restaurant. Even though it's always busy, it still has a homey feel. Of course we love the rolls, but all the other food we've tried is good! We like this location better than the Ogden one. Feels less crowded here. I think the tables are just set up nicer.
Food is usually good. But this time I got a metal wire in my food! So glad I saw it! Imagine swallowing that
I was impressed with the staff and management at the Layton Hills location. We went out to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day and when my steak wasn’t cooked as ordered they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure things were corrected very quickly and to my satisfaction to ensure a great Valentine’s Day dinner. With such amazing customer service, we are 100% guaranteed to be dining there again soon.
Wait times are ridiculous!Good food and great service if you're willing to wait about 90 minutes for a table even after calling 2 hours in advance.Not sure if it's a regular thing or if they were just having a bad night, but every cup and plate they brought out was dirty. We kept having to send things back and noticed everyone around us was doing the same.
Very tasty, I was expecting less but the steak was very tender and delicious. Definitely going back.
Went on a date night with my wife and had a great experience. Our waitress was very nice and patient with us because we spent a long time looking at menu. Not our first time but we wanted to try something new. Very satisfied with this restaurant
