Dinner tonight here was delicious! We ordered 3 shrimp tacos and nachos. Plenty for the two of us and we enjoyed every bite. Definitely returning.Friendly customer service.
I hate to give an obviously struggling business such a bad review but I’ve been here twice and both times were equally disappointing.Today I went to their website and placed an online order on their online ordering system RepasO. I ordered the 3 Shrimp tacos meal. $13.47. Said it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. So we stopped at the gas station, got drinks, definitely took us 30+ minutes. When I went in there I told them I had an online order to pick up. She asked what I wanted. I said I already ordered I’m just picking up. She asked what it was. I said shrimp tacos. She had no clue what I was talking about. She pulled up the menu and showed me all the taco options and shrimp isn’t even an option, there was definitely a language barrier. I opened my phone and showed her exactly what I ordered from their site. She wrote something down and told me it would be another 10 minutes. When I finally got the food, they were the most pathetic shrimp tacos I have ever seen. The rice and beans it came with were practically cold. And based upon that experience I will never go back. I’m astounded that this place has any good reviews… the food isn’t great, the interior is confusing, cluttered, and dated… sure is a shame.
The food is great. However, on two separate occasions after enjoying my meal and paying for it with a credit card, the store added, the next day, additional money to the tip line that I did not authorize. One time I even paid with cash as a tip in the tip jar and they added a tip the next day when the tip line did not have any money on it. I will not eat there again because they are dishonest. It makes me quite sad because I really enjoyed their food.
Authentic Mexican food, very generous portions, everything that we have tried has been delicious. Prices are great.Their salsa bar is awesome.The restaurant is nice and clean and their service is always first class.Love this place!
Can’t wait to go back. A lot of authentic Mexican on a huge menu. Tacos were great the first time, and the hot Alambres (parallidas/barbecue) even better the second visit. Friends also love it. Great cooking and kind service. I think I’ll go back about a thousand times. ?♥️??
This is a great little authentic Mexican food diner. I got food for takeout ehich was delicious, and the prices were good. The dining room and kitchen appeared quite clean and inviting. You may have to wait a bit for your takeout order, but everything is made up fresh. I'm sure I'll be coming back again.
Been here on 3 separate occasions -1st time, order my usual... a carne asada burrito and a couple other items. Less than 20% of the burrito had meat, the rest was just filler of beans and rice with little pico.2nd time, ordered the carne asada and another meat burrito to see if the experience would be the same on both carnitas. Same if not worse, beans were also runny.3rd time was last week, this time I ask for little / muy poquito rice and beans several times during my order, and it was just the same.I wanted to enjoy this location and come back often, but for the price and lack of meat... other places deliver more.
I am not sure how I have managed to live in the area for 3.5 years and never heard of Tacos Blanquita until now. Eating here reminded me heavily of meals while visiting Mexico a number of years ago. The food is good, but I really enjoyed their salsa bar. They have daily deals as well as discount offers through Anytime deals and the portions are very filling (and I am 6'4" & 265 lbs). I can't wait to go back!
Best Mexican food between Ogden and SLC. Excellent seafood and amazing daily specials. Food comes a bit slow compared to most places, but it comes freshly cooked and hot, so take this as a positive!
Best tortas in town. The staff is always extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want. Authentic Mexican food experience.
