Straight off: customer service is a 5 out of 5. Our waitress was friendly, personable and seemed happy to be there. The food is ok. Cheeseburger Patti tasted frozen and not fresh, spicy chicken was good with a hint of spice, French toast was very good. Very custard- y tasting. Tator tots was crispy, fries were limp and blah tasting.Scone was very good. Will we back? Yes, simply do to the customer service. Give it a try.We like that it is not a chain, worn and it's personable.

If you grew up in Kaysville or Layton then the nostalgia of this place is 5 stars. But going back as an adult I was not very impressed with the food. The cinnamon roll was dry and the omelet had paper thin un-seasoned flavorless eggs with over cooked meat put on top, not in the omelet. It is a fun classic diner to enjoy, and I am sure that there are probably other items on the menu that would be better than what I had today. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time.

Wonderful experience! We just drove past and decided to give it a try. We got right in on a friday night, the waiter was quick to get our order, and all 3 of our meals were there in like 10 minutes! The scones and honey butter were delicious! The steak and eggs was surprisingly flavorful and cooked perfect, and the pancakes were beautiful!Top it off with a free refill of hot chocolate and we are definitely coming back here???

the worker's are friendly the place is clean and a warm feeling to enjoy your coffee great prices food is excellentBest scones in Utah ?

Very friendly, food was served quickly and was very good

I was passing through town and needed a quick and affordable breakfast, and this place hit the spot! I got the mini-breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patty, and a pancake and was so impressed with the flavor of everything. Delicious diner food at it’s best!

This place is ghetto fabulous, if you like greasy spoon restaurants then this is a place for you. We got the apple fritter and the fried scone. Both were ok but nothing that you need to try. The atmosphere here was very truck stop dinner, with being friendly and warm.

Food servings are large! Scones were tasty! Don’t know what the heck was going on with the mashed potato-hash browns though but that was the only thing I wasn’t too impressed with. Oh and having a vegetarian omelette option with veggies would be super cool! We would definitely go back

Their scones may be known far & wide, but they don't put all they should be known for. Their cooks are spot on for everything on their menu. The wait staff are on top of diner"s needs and culinary satisfaction. The management is so integrally woven into the staff that one wouldn't no they aren't part of the team. Everyone there...staff and fellow diners are always engaging, courteous and welcoming. Get there if you can...it will be worth the wait.

Sills. Scones. Pancakes.I could use a lot more words to describe our experience here and I’ll try my best to describe why you’ll make the drive and be thankful you ordered at least these 2 things…Scones. Now in my mind I pictured this dry triangular shaped brittle crumb creator of a baked good that requires at least hot chocolate to moisturize it to swallow. Our local friends said this is not the case for a UT scone, and OMG- just look at that fried dough delivered topped with an ice scream scoop of honey butter spread. The best parts of things to get deep fried and then topped with butter.Pancakes. This is a picture of a teenager that learned to ask more questions before ordering ‘a stack’ of pancakes. Yes! there were only 3 pancakes, and yes! there is a plate hiding under there and Yes! He did learn to ask in the future a simple question: so how big are these pancakes? These ones were an easy 10-11” diameter stack.Diner feel, quick and simple. Thanks!
