Roosters is a decent place to eat and chat at with company. Have eaten here a few times and nothing has made me want to really comeback again. Had lunch with coworkers and the spicy Korean chicken sandwich is not very Korean or spicy. Wish it had some kimchi and a thicker chicken piece that was not so overcooked. The fries are good but would pass on getting them naughty as it is just three sides to put on them. The atmosphere is good for groups to chat and talk while eating. If you want Okay food and a decent area for a group this is a good option for you.
I've never written a review before. This place deserves one. Great food! Great atmosphere! Great beer! Great prices! Great service! Chicken Cabernara Pizza was best pizza I ever had. The chocolate truffle desert was to die for. The service was excellent, Marcus? checked on us frequently, but was unobtrusive. He was very pleasant and helpful in selecting beer and food. We live several states away so this will be our 1st and only visit.
My husband and I met some friends there for dinner. There was about a 15 minute wait. Once seated our waiter came and took our order. He was very friendly and helpful. The beers we got were very tasty. I had the carne asada tacos. They were very good. A bit over stuffed with cabbage, so they became messy to eat. Their burgers are delicious too. A good selection of different kinds of food.
Moved to the area a while back and always wanted to try this place. Today I got the chance to and am so glad I did. It was a late lunch or early dinner, so it was pretty slow. Each of the staff we interacted with were all very personable and friendly. Service was great. Left us just enough time to look at the menu and began waiting on us. Had the cheese curds for an appetizer, and the crispy chicken sandwich that was on special was delicious. Service was OUTSTANDING. I will be gone until October, but will definitely be back. Good beer. Good food. Good people. ?
This has turned into a go to place to get something to eat. I visit at least once a week and sometimes more. After having eaten most of the menu I can attest it is all good and they change their specials on a consistent basis which is nice. They have a wide variety of beer and the best Seltzers I have tried. I am not really a big fan of hte Seltzers as a whole but Roosters is good
Great fish tacos and our waitress was excellent ?
We enjoyed our time here to eat. It was a comfortable environment, great service and decent food.I felt their could have been a little more flavor to the meals. I got a burger and my wife got the mahi. We felt the fish was a little over priced for what was delivered. The salad was amazing! Forget the ñame but it had pears and nutsThough overall we had a great experience.
Arielle was my waitress and even if my food was terrible, which it most definitely was not, I would go back again if she was my waitress. Absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was kind, but she was exceptionally perfect. I had a couple seasonal draft beers, the wagyu steak, and finished it off with a slice of Oreo cheese cake. It’s probably the most I’ve ever spent on a meal for just my self. Yet I don’t regret it one bit. Everything was super delicious. Just a heads up if you get the Oreo cheese cake ask for a side of caramel. I only know this because my waitress brought it out and told me she loves the cheese cake with it. Never would have thought to try it and since the caramel is made in house it’s amazing.
Honestly only giving it a two because my waiter was great . The food was watered down and zero flavor . This is my favorite dish and today it was terrible! It took forever to get a blood Mary but the female bartender was just chatting it up instead of making her orders . I pay attention because I am a bartender as well . The “ garlic bread “ was not seasoned at all . I love roosters but you gotta step it up guys .
Roosters is always great at accommodating large groups. I try when I'm in Layton to gather my lady friends for dinner. Roosters did not disappoint in their service or in the food.
