First let me explain that I love Popeye's. Your chicken sandwiches are the bomb and i normally have no issues with this restaurant. Tonight however, unfortunately is the exception. I ordered my food online and part of the order was two chicken sandwiches w/extra pickle. Usually when i order my sandwiches with extra pickle i get six instead of four. I got there to pick up my food and the manager tells me that i will be five minutes for chicken. I said ok. Meanwhile, There was a white bag on the counter. 15 min later i see the employee put a chicken box in the bag and call my name. No way was i taking chicken sandwiches that were sitting on a cold counter for 15 min. I ask to have the chicken sandwiches remade. meanwhile the manager is dumping a box of canjun fries back into the hopper! This violates two or at least three food health service violations. Then i get my food and get home. Lo and behold both of my sandwiches had half a jar of pickles in them. So I brought the sandwiches back and made them make me new ones. I've been going to this Popeye's and always had great service. Very disappointing to say the least.
We ordered from the app so the food would be ready when we arrived because we had two small children. The employee had to retrieve the order from the computer and then they started making it there was no acknowledgment when we entered the restaurant and I know that there's a staff shortage but this was one example of such poor customer service that I will not return. Some of the folks working there need to learn fundamental work ethic which is to communicate with the customer. I'm sad because Popeyes used to be such a great place started by a Mr Copeland who is now deceased.
Worst Popeyes to go to in the Davis/Weber County area, hands down. Avoid if you can at all possible. Customer service is the worst! I've been sitting in the drive through for 7 minutes before being helped. Only car in the drive through, only a handful of cars in the parking lot. Which could be employee vehicles. I saw at least four staff inside.I know hiring and keeping staff is difficult right now. But I don't see a reason for delay from where I'm at. I should also add I've only come to this location maybe 3-4 times (including pre-covid) and have been disappointed each time.
Each time I come here it’s a problem. The chicken is undercooked. My fiancé got sick and had to be hospitalized because of food poisoning. Also when you ask them to correct an order they get mad. The manager stuck a thermometer inside a piece of chicken and hadn’t sanitized it beforehand so I asked for a new peice. Manager threw the old food i asked to be replaced from the counter to the trash way behind another counter and you could tell he was upset. Then when he gave me another peice he had such an attitude. Never going here again. Trash place to eat at
They are probably better on a weekday, Sunday they were out of most all the sides, they didn’t have containers for the mac & cheese they didn’t have utensils they didn’t have straws the drinks were half full when they handed them to us the only part that was good was the chicken. So at least they did something right. It’s unfortunate that they ran out of all of that stuff, and then their customer service was terrible. When I asked for sauce because they had only put bbq in I was treated rudely.
They've gotten my order wrong the last 3 times I've been there. Management is extremely rude! They didn't want to do anything about fixing the problem. I love the chicken but will never go there again!
Walked in due to the long drive thru line. Sign on door said lobby was open. The manager said the lobby was only open for mobile orders and we had to leave. We refused and tried to place a mobile order, but the app wasn't working. The crew was overwhelmed, shouting about angry customers. The manager was on the phone the entire time, telling the staff to ignore us. Absolute chaos. I asked why the sign said the lobby was open and the one nice person (short, black hair pulled back with part down the middle) said they weren't allowed to. She served us as the app wasn't working on either of our phones.
Purchased my order online, and went to pick up my order at the "Online Orders" counter. I saw that the line to order food in the store extended out the door and was glad I had ordered online. After waiting a few minutes with some other folks who were also waiting for their food, it was past time for my food to be ready, according to my order confirmation, so I asked for a status. They told me I'd need to get in that line and place my order at the register. What? What is the point of online ordering? I had a deadline so I asked them to cancel my order, because my card had already been charged $40. They told me I'd need to go online. I left the store pretty upset over the whole thing. I went online to cancel the order, but there was no option for "Unacceptable Service" in the predetermined list of reasons to request a refund. I arbitrarily picked one, which led to some back and forth with corporate to finally convince them to give me my money back.I won't do Popeyes again.
Great customer service! Thanks to Steven and his team for taking good care of me on an easy to make mistake with our order. I'd say nobody is really at fault, but you guys stepped up to the plate and handled it well. Thank you!
We took a chance coming here though we hadn't had good experiences before. The chicken tenders were not cooked all the way through! I don't know how they stay open.
