I've heard great things about this place. I really enjoyed it! The rolls are a bit small for the price, but it tasted very fresh and clean. Also, their menu was very expansive which made it a bit difficult to decide what to order. They have some really unique rolls with some unique ingredients however like mango and coconut. I can't wait to come back and try more of their rolls and dishes.

Always a mention when sushi night roles around, Osaka never disappoints with their sushi. Their presentation is good, their flavor is good, and their service is good. Our sushi came out quickly and so did our appetizers. My “chicken wing” appetizer dish, thing, was not that good although. It was sort of rubbery and barely had any meat on it, the flavors weren’t apparent either. Also, be aware they are a bit pricey on some of their dishes. Some roles are $7.25 then some are $18, big range. I’d recommend any sushi lovers giving this place a try!

I know everyone has a bad day, but this experience culminated not only with our server, but the entire staff. My wife and I ordered. I received my sushi roll and my wife helped me eat it since her entree had not yet arrived. 10 minutes past finishing my roll, my wife finally caught the attention of our server, and inquired about her order. Server swiftly left and brought my wife her entree, which to no surprise, soup and fried tempura shrimp and vegetables were cold. I also inquired about my nigiri, which she then also went and got. Our server never checked on us, and was not apologetic on the late food, nor offered any explanation. We forgot my wife's leftover box, and upon return with 5 minutes of leaving, discovered they had thrown it out already. I went in to speak to a manager, but upon additional waiting opted to vent my frustration with the head sushi chef, letting him know what poor service we received. Great food, terrible service. . . and they weren't that busy either.

YUM! A variety of options from sushi, ramen, drinks, and meals. This beautiful restaurant has excellent, efficient staff. The waitress made helpful suggestions when asked about what to order. She was friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I ordered The Crazy Mango Roll, Sunset Blvd Roll, Sunshine, and the Tonkatsu soup. Everything was made fresh and beautifully plated. The flavors were unique and complimentary. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been avoiding Osaka since they refused to honor my reservation for dinner on New Year's Eve a couple of years ago. However, my daughter went there on a date last night, was seated, ordered their food, and the kitchen closed before they ever got their food because the waitress had never actually put in the order. They had to find someplace else for dinner after sitting there for an hour and a half. Since it was late on a Monday night and Valentine's Day, they had to eat at a pancake restaurant instead. Osaka used to be a great place, but I can’t recommend them anymore.

Had a reservation for sushi, upon arrival the wait staff that checks you in wouldn't make eye contact or say anything. 5 minutes later a new person walks over and takes us to our seat. It was a little awkward that the first person didn't acknowledge that someone walked into the restaurant.\\n\\nWaited 10 minutes at our table before the waiter came over to take our order. My husband was given a dirty plate and a dirty glass, he didn't really need the plate, so he only requested a new glass. The next glass he was given was also dirty, but rather then send it back again he decided not to drink for the duration of his meal (we really do try to be reasonable understanding people....)\\n\\nAfter the waiter gave us our salads (which was WAY over priced, $5 for a handful of lettuce, dressing, a single slice of cucumber and a cherry tomato cut in half... really?) we never saw him for the rest of our dinner. He didn't check on us once.\\n\\nTo top off this lovely experience one of the rolls we ordered never came. But they still tried to charge us for it.\\n\\nI think what bothered me the most is that the waiter didn't even attempt to apologize for the fact that he kept giving us dirty dishes and the fact that the service was slow and the fact that we didn't get one of our rolls and had to ask him to adjust it off our receipt. Apologies go a LONG way with me. He didn't care.\\n\\nSo the overall review of this restaurant: the food was OK... the sunset roll tasted kinda fishy and old, but it was OK. Between the careless wait staff, the mediocre and overpriced food, find yourself a different place to eat. They clearly don't care about their customers at this place. Plenty of good sushi restaurants in Utah... AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Really good sushi, wait staff is friendly but maybe a bit overwhelmed. Sometimes this place gets real busy. Avoid the ramen came out seemed like an afterthought not much care goes into it. Beyond that it was good

Wow, the staff was awful to us. We waited a very long time to be seated on a Monday, qhen the restaurant was half empty. The table was sticky, there was old food in the crevice, in the middle of the table. Water was fishy- get the soda. Sushi was great. We waited 1.5 hrs to be served our food... and our young children were served last... after asking for their food. Everything but the sushi was ice cold... couldn't even eat it. We told the server and manager and the proceeded to tell us that if course our food was cold, because we are a large group. We had 3 people on our ticket. They also added an 18% automatic tip to the check. When we told them we waited a long time, they said they gave better service than other restaurants. I cannot believe the service, let alone how we were spoken to. We will not be coming back.

Great place for sushi and ramen!
