I work overnight, so i came here on my break at 2am. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to take my order but nobody did. Nobody else was in line besides me, looks like they are getting paid to do nothing all night long. I wonder how much more money that location could be making overnight if that wasn’t the case. I’m sure i’m not the first person thats happened to.
Not only does McDonald's have a terrible rap but this place puts all the jokes to truth. It must take next to no brain cells to get hired here. If you have anyone in your family in need of a job that you had no hope for, this is the place. They don't know how to subtract $2 from an order. For God sakes my son that's 4 knows how to do that. I guess they do deserve at least 1 star because they are doing good for the community and helping employ those with no hope. May god bless the souls of these no hope souls that work here.
Just stopped to use the restroom. Sparkling clean and smelled like bleach. Now that's my kind of public restroom! If their kitchen is this clean then I'd eat here.
I think expecting too much from fast food is gaudy and a bit out of touch. With the current economic state of wages and turnover rates, I think it's fair to say that the fact that people are showing up and trying their best at this location is good enough for me. They're always open and I get my food. Is it the best quality? No, it's McDonald's. I know what I'm paying for and I shovel it down my smiling face like the loyal pig of consumerism that I am. My card got charged twice so went in to ask manager and she said “could still be pending” “happens all the time” like why does it have to be “pending” twice to begin with when it was only order once along with the transaction being 4 minutes apart with a different amount like could you please explain? No “happens all the time”? Oh ok. What a horrible response and rude costumer service coming from “manager” keep the money buy your self a new attitude if you can.
I don’t like posting a bad review but this McDonald’s has serious customer service issues, food accuracy issues, food wait time, and even the app apparently has issues! I recently used the app to place an order and then picked it up at the drive through. When I checked out on the app the total showed $4.44 and then I was emailed a receipt which showed I had been charged $7.04. I called the restaurant manager to get this corrected and was told that I would need to get a bank statement and bring that in to get the charge taken care of. Like I (or anyone these days) have time to wast to print out my statement and bring it over to the store for a $2.60 refund. In my mind that sends the message that a couple of dollars is worth far more to the management than their customers satisfaction. Because I am a person of principle I sent a complaint via the McDonalds app and still have not been taken care of. I needed to waste some more of my time after my complaint at their request to call them and give them the phone model I used along with the software version and the McDonald’s app software version only to be told that someone else would contact me. What a joke!!! If they cared about my business they would not only have immediately refunded my $2.60 they would have refunded the whole meal and given me a little something in the way of a coupon or food to help try and wipe the bad experience from my mind so that I would have a good feeling about that location and McDonald’s as a whole. Very disappointed with this Layton location and McDonalds protocol to resolve simple customer service issues.
Tried to order food in drive through. Person told me to hold on a minute and then never took my order. I waited for several minutes and then ended leaving after 8 cars went through the other lane and I was still waiting.
Shouldn't have to wait ten minutes to order when no one was ahead of us. Yes two ppl waiting for their food but totally unacceptable. You can at least a knowledge customers waiting if you are that busy.

Ordered a caramel iced coffee in the drive through. They gave me basically a cup of creamer. So I went inside to see if they could maybe make me a new one. I stood at the counter for ten minutes to be completely ignored. Staff saw me standing there. Why was there no one at the counter? The people standing behind me asked an employee for help so they cut in front of me, employee helped them, then they walked away after helping them. Like okay wow did you not see me here first? Garbage!!!
