This McDonald’s inspired me to write a review for the McDonald’s at 1700 S on Antelope Drive because this one always seems to struggle while that other one always seems like a well oiled machine. I don’t know why that happens. But it do!So while I’m sitting in the drive through behind the car in front of me that’s been waiting 10 minutes for some Latte’s, I guess I’ll keep balance in the world by reviewing this one too.First of all the people have always been friendly here, so I’m grateful for that. But the drive through line never moves!! First you’re greeted by a surprisingly loud request to have a loyalty number ready (Not to seem out of touch but don’t really even know what a loyalty number is for ??‍♂️) but then 9 times out of 10 you wait there for a few minutes before you hear from someone to take your order, and then once you order your Hot n’ spicy’s and small fries, that is the time that you can plan to turn your car off and start leaving reviews for places.So yeah. It’s a McDonald’s. So it is what it is. It’d just be cool if you didn’t have to take time off of work or cancel your evening plans to get your two or three (now) $2 dollar items. Listen [read this] I do not rate fast food joints on account of them being fast food joints. Come on, I mean honestly what do you expect from people who are paid as minimally as possible to feed you and get you out the door as quickly as possible? ( not facts just an an opinion)... However this McDonald's in particular made my night! After a long and rough day I went to an entirely different McDonald's to get the kids and I dinner because I was certainly not looking forward to cooking tonight. And I decided that I could really use a pick me up shamrock shake. The guy taking my order told me their ice cream was all down and they couldn't make me one. After paying for my food I watched them hand out two flurries to guy in front of me. I figured maybe something was wrong with their mint flavoring or the shake machine so I let it go. I went to three other places that might have minty flavored shakes and every one of them at least told the truth about how they were all out of mint or that they didn't even carry that. And I was ready to give up on it but, then I came to this McDonald's. I asked if their shake machine was working and the guy taking my order said it was so I asked if there was anything wrong with the mint flavor and there was a pause... He came back on and said that unfortunately there was an issue with their mint flavor but that he could make me any other flavor. So I asked if they were just out of it and he said no they have the flavor but he would have to mix it by hand and with out hesitation he said" you know what... I got you man it is no problem" . And you know it might seem like maybe that was his job but he could have dismissed me like the other guy at the other McDonald's so when somebody goes an extra mile for service I think it should be recognized. So as long as I continue to get this kind of service here I recommend 10/10

The worst mcdonald’s i have EVER been too. I sat in line for over 25 minutes for 2 icecream cones. Employees are extremely rude and often give dirty looks or rude remarks… if you’re looking to spend 30 minutes sitting in line trying to get your order right, paid for, and to finally receive the food with a glare and rude thank you, i would recommend:)

The store was so dirty and unsanitary. Windows looked nasty, ice cream machine looked horrible.I can go on, but I am sure that you understand what I mean.We through the ice cream in the trash. I would most definitely not recommend this store.

Whoever you have working tonight, 1/31/22 at 10:30 pm, THIS is the team you want to work your store. They are polite and efficient and this was the fastest drive through for McDonald’s I’ve seen at this location or others this late at night.

Got food here just before midnight on Sunday 01/16/2022. I felt so bad for the kid running the drive thru. He was very kind and helpful even though it was almost closing time and about 10 cars showed up at the drive thru. He looked like he was going to cry. Whomever is managing this restaurant, and whomever is the franchise owner should be ashamed. No one should have to be working that hard in such a stressful environment; let alone a teenager who doesn't have the emotional capacity to deal with such things. I get it, there's a labor shortage; but that doesn't excuse the fact that two very young people were the only ones working during what was clearly a very busy time of night.

0 Stars, I pulled up in the drive thru and they said we will be right with you, they didn't get back to me and let 5 cars in the other lane go so I backed up and went into the other lane, then the speaker kept cutting them off so I could only hear part of every other word, while I was trying to understand them and kept saying excuse me they let 5 cars go thru the lane I had just left. Worse place ever

i got a $15 bundle for 2 big macs fries and nuggets. they only gave one big mac and forgot one patty on the big mac i got.

Like all McDonald's locations, it's a hit and miss. Most days I'm very pleased with the service and food here. Some days, it's a long wait despite very few cars outside, and the food isn't quite up to par. But it's fast food, and that's about what I expect. Overall, I'd say this is an average McDonald's.

Order was wrong and orange juice was warm. Do you train your workers to be cheerful to customers? Not very welcoming. We seem to be losing that in or fast food industry. Sad.
