Pleasantly surprised food was excellent and staff was friendly. Didn’t know what to expect from a Cajun seafood place in the Ogden UT area. Not what you think of when in Utah. Well this place does it right. 4/5 stars only because I only give 5/5 for those few all time favorites. Hard to get much better for sure. I’d go back without a doubt
Great service, delicious food that can get pricey if you don't watch it. Overall, I would recommend!
Tasty food with great ambience. I tried flounder which wasn't something I would order again, but my husband ate it, along with his meal and we had an appetizer plate of hush puppies, calamari and fried oysters which we loved. You can't go wrong with one of their desserts.
amazing food and wonderful service
Went to dinner tonight with my BFF. The atmosphere, food and people are so great. Always feel so welcomed. The food is soooooooo amazing. I could drink the juices.
Food was amazing, but what blew us away was the service! From my first call to make the reservation, to the second call to increase number coming, through the end of dinner—5 star professionalism and service! Everyone we interacted with was so nice, over the phone and in person. We will definitely be back!
My fiancé and I ate here for Valentine’s Day and had a delicious dinner. Our server Bryce had some great recommendations. We started off with the crabmeat fries. I love good loaded fries…and these were absolutely fantastic! The fries were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! We’d definitely order these again. We did the Valentine’s Day special which was dinner for two for $69 (very clever). It came with an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. We chose the crabmeat fries (delicious), crab, shrimp, extra shrimp (which was an additional $4), and a lemon blueberry dessert. We chose to get the hook & reel original sauce in a spicy heat level. I can do a little bit of heat, so spicy was great for me. I probably could have gone a tad hotter. I didn’t try the next heat level, but I think my fiancé would have liked that more. He loves spicy food. The main course was delicious! We couldn’t get enough of that sauce! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and could be easily cut with a fork.We ordered a lemon blueberry dessert, but the server brought us cheesecake. I don’t usually like cheesecake, but we really needed to be heading home, so we didn’t say anything to our server.I ended up loving the cheesecake! It was fantastic when drizzled with both the chocolate and strawberry sauce! Cheesecake is usually too dense for me, but this one was very light. All in all we had a great dinner. It could have been a little better if we were provided with gloves (I hate getting my hands messy). I don’t know if they forgot to provide them or if we needed to ask. It wasn’t a deal breaker though so we just dug in. It was kind of fun :)We’d definitely come back for more delicious food.
Wife and I wanted some seafood and decided to.give this place a try. Their boils are absolutely delicious. The hook and reel blend with as spicy as they make it is our favorite way to go. And we have to add sausage as it goes so well with all the juices. If you like seafood boils, this place is a must.We did try take out once, and that was nowhere near as good. To the point we wouldn't had gone back as frequently if that was how it tasted our first time. So eat in if you can. The food is amazing.
Been here a ew times and the food is always good and hte staff very friendly and helpful. The Po Boy's are great but really like the Shrimp Sausage Etoufee is fantastic
I would give it ten stars if I could!!!! I LOVE their steamer bags. It is a little pricy, but worth every penny!
