At first we tried to go through the drive through at “Arctic Circle” a few blocks away, 15 min before they closed. Waited for 10 min, drove around a few times. Could see the two kids inside sitting around. All we wanted were two twist cones. It would have taken them 2 min, but their gen z, waste of space, lazy, teenage, trash employees couldn’t be bothered to look away from their phones.I kept calling out “hello” to the drive through, but no one would answer. My wife got out of the car and tried to go into the store, it was locked, so she knocked on the door, but they ignored us. We then called the store to get their attention and still… nothing.Finally I drove to the window where they knew I could see them and laid on my horn till they looked up. They looked at each other and laughed not sure of what to do, but I wasn’t going to stop till I could look them in the eye and let them see the fire in my eyes and hatred in my heart. Finally they tore their eyes away from their phones once they were looking at me I lifted off the horn and gave them the one finger salute.Then we went down the road to Dairy Queen and enjoyed some wonderful soft served cones, given to us from friendly and polite employees. And we lived happily ever after. Except for the arctic circle employees who were most likely chastised by their superiors, lost their jobs, and now are doing court ordered community service cleaning the worst public park bathrooms in all of the land.
I love Dairy Queen but I’ll be avoiding this location. The food takes a really, really long time. Too long for fast food. When I walked in @1:30pm no one that was in the dining area had received their food. I should have left when I saw that. One older couple went up twice thinking their food had been forgotten about. I waited 20 minutes for an average hamburger and fries. No other fast food place takes that long, even at lunchtime.
Wouldn’t take our order at 9:50 PM and shut off the drive thru lights after taking orders of two cars in front of ours even though posted hours are open till 10 PM.Perhaps they should update to 9:45 if they’re not going to take orders for cars in line 15-20 minutes before closing…In any case we won’t be going back to this DQ location at any time of day.
Yall need to add breakfast, biscuits and gravy would be awesome
Everything is good not had any problems. But some of us can't handle chocolate. It would be nice to have a little better choices for flavors for the Blizzard's. Most everything they have on the menu has chocolate in it. Please bring some other flavors non chocolate.
Due to my line of work I am constantly traveling and often frequent fast food restaurants. I wouldn't say that most folks who take my order at other fast food places are rude, but more indifferent . However, a visit to this dairy queen is a golden exception. I haven't been more pleasantly greeted, served and wished a great rest of my day in years. The Gent who took my order is truely a cut above and I was incredibly impressed with his kindness, enthusiasm & energy. I think it would be nearly impossible to interact with this Gent & not have a better day because of it. (I believe his name is John since that's what my receipt said). I only pass through this area from time to time, but I'll definitely be back because of the incredible customer service I received. He definitely earned the spot of Rockstar in my book. But all of that aside, my blizzard was great too ? Great job John ??
Been here twice and each time I’ve loved the customer service. I order the chicken strip basket and my food is always fresh.
I've been going to "DQ" for years. Dairy Queen is so much better than any of their competition. Quality of the food is really good, sometime the quality of the food that is served has lost some of the quality. I know that the employees always have the responsibility to maintain the quality that comes in the back door. I know that they strive to have the best employees whenever possible.
