Excellent service. Tess was so fun to talk with while we ordered and the rest of the staff (Gwen and Maribel) was all very friendly. Burgers were yumo and of course the custard was delicious
I want to start off by saying the employees here are so nice! My fiancé and I had never been here before, so we weren’t quick to order and we had a lot of questions. The guy at the register was extremely helpful and very patient. Not once did he make us feel rushed or dumb for not understanding the menu.We finally decided to order two cheese ButterBurgers with everything on them (one was a double), crinkle cut fries, Wisconsin cheese curds, and two Turtle Dove Concretes. We swapped out a drink for a concrete, so the kind person at the register provided us with water cups. Before we were even able to finish filling our water cups, he brought out our concretes and set them on a nearby table for us.Not 60 seconds after we sat down, a sweet lady brought us our food with a smile on her face. We couldn’t believe how fast (and kind) the service was!We gobbled up everything. There wasn’t a spec left. The concrete was the creamiest custard I’ve ever had! I was a little worried about the burger because the patty was so thin, but it reminded me of a backyard barbecue with all the fixings.We will definitely be back for more delicious food and fantastic service!
(Full disclosure, I'm writing this review on "Fast Sunday" so, the memories from my last visit are particularly poignant)The young kids they employ in Layton & Centerville are very nice, but consistently struggle to get my order correct. However, I keep going because the Butter Burgers are amazing! Especially if you like salt, onions, & pickles. The shakes/custards are great too.I don't mind the iffy service, it's nearly impossible to find experienced fast food workers these days, and kids need someplace to start.
I'm not giving them 3-stars for anything but the grilled chicken sandwich because everything else was exceptional. Service was friendly and polite and fast, the fries were delicious and their butter burgers never disappoint. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich as I wanted to change it up a bit, I should not have. The chicken was not the best quality meat with chewy parts and for me that is not my favorite thing in the world. I had them put some franks buffalo wing sauce on it and that didn't help the flavor at all. Anyway, everything else was awesome and maybe I should be more generous with the rating, but this was only for that one chicken sandwich...which isn't fair overall, but well, sometimes that's how the chicken bocks.
Good food. High price. Terrible customer service. Every single time we've gone, there is a problem. They frequently forget an item in my order; once they lost my order after I paid for it, I was left to sit for 30 minutes, my lunch time was over and I had to leave. So aggravating. It is VERY SLOW, even when they're not busy. Today, they took the order of all the cars that arrived AFTER us, and we finally gave up and left after 17 minutes of being ignored. They don't honor the coupons either. Lots of friendly employees -- but good luck actually getting your food!
They've got pretty good food and desserts. The employees are friendly and the service is fast. It's a nice place to go with groups also. I was honestly a little irritated when I saw them going in but only because I grew up here and didn't like seeing change. But it's a nice addition to the city especially in this part of town.
Culver's deluxe double butter burgers are really good and filling. The cheese curds with marinara sauce are good and the onion rings are well done. The custard is good and the daily flavor is a nice touch. The meals are on the pricier side but worth the spend at times. For a fast food joint it is very good and the staff at this location were very nice.
Pretty good burger and fries, nothing bad or terrible, but nothing fantastic or mind blowing either. Kind of middle of the pack flavors. The flavors kind of reminded me of Arctic Circle or Dairy Queen, maybe a slight step above those. I feel bad giving this a 3 because of the great customer service and awesome vibes, but i have been ranking all of the burger joints in the area and this one unfortunately ranked pretty low on the list due to the mediocre texture and flavors. I may update review later and improve it once i explore the menu, the shakes looked awesome.
We really like Culver's frozen custard and especially the favors of the day. Service is very quick and courteous. Prices are also reasonable compared to other places. Can't comment on other menu items.
Fast, friendly service! I had the deluxe burger with bacon and cheesecurds on the side. Food was fresh to order, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the burger. Cheesecurds were good though. I’ve never had them before. Reminded me of bite sized mozzarella sticks, but a little fresher. Overall not bad!
