I took my daughter (year and a half old) here to eat , because she absolutely loves Mexican food. The hostess had a huge smile and sat us quick. We had 3 different people checking on her and I making sure we were good.Food was absolutely amazing, but right when I said I’d like a box and check the waitress informed me my meal had be comped . I have never been offered something like that by a restaurant out of pure generosity. Over whelmed with happiness I didn’t know what to say.Thank you to the amazing employees at cafe sabor

We went with a pretty big group but they were still able to get us seated quickly. The food was very delicious (but perhaps a bit overpriced). The service was a little slow, but we did go at peak dinner time with a big group, so it wasn't a big deal. You have to go through the Trax parking lot to get there, and at first glance it looks like there isn't any parking for the restaurant itself, but there is parking on the south side of the building. You just have to go all the way through the Trax parking first.

This place was soooo much better the first time I ate it a few years ago. Their shrimp and artichoke pasta was absolutely horrendous. The shrimp was rubbery, cold and absolutely TERRIBLE. The artichokes had no flavor and the pasta sauce tasted like it came out of a tin can from the dollar store. The pasta itself was over cooked and mushy. I only rated it two stars because it wasn’t the servers fault that the food was so terrible and he was awesome.

The St. George location is infinitely better, but the food is still good. I'm not wild about the environment at this one. It's just an awkward building to be in and it feels so cramped. Service is always sub-par. I've never left mad OR impressed; not at this location anyways. Food came out fast but the pork in the burrito I had was so dry. The shrimp ceviche was alright, but didn't taste super fresh.I'm a huge fan of the salsa here, specifically the hot salsa.Fried ice cream was okay, but there was hardly any flavor from the ice cream itself.Overall it was okay. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. It was just ✨okay✨.

It was fair food was fast and hot. They set us upstairs. I have to say though it was so loud and hard to communicate with my husband. We were sat next to two families with kids (suggestion if you see a couple without kids, don't set them next to kids). The waitress was great and I enjoyed the dish.

I went here for a work function a while back and the food was great. I wanted to take my family here because I thought they might like it too. We waited 30 minutes for a table, which was fine. However, when we were seated we weren’t even acknowledged for 15 minutes. We ended up leaving and eating dinner somewhere with better service. Wouldn’t recommend going here unless you have time to burn.

We enjoy Cafe Sabor! We frequent it regularly. Their fajitas are top notch. They have some more authentic Mexican dishes (i.e. Mole, Tacos AL Pastor), and some more Americanized dishes too. Despite the challenges with staffing that they have had (like many other restaurants), the food is brought to the table when it is fresh and hot, and I've never had to wait long for it. This month (October 2021) you can get a free Fried Ice Cream (Oct 17 - 31) with the purchase of two entrees when you dine in. Definitely worth a visit!

First visit today but not the last….maybe dinner tonight ?. Taco salad was amazing and tasted lighter and less greasy than others. Atmosphere was clean and enjoyable, location next to FrontRunner made it very convenient.

The food is ok - basic typical Mexican food. Service is glacial. We went on a Friday evening as a group of 10. We had to wait for a table despite having a reservation. The waitress was slow, but she made up for it with her absence. We never got drink refills until almost at the end of the meal. The waitress tried to take our order by standing at the end of the table. Yes dear, we ARE dead; she wouldn’t hear us, and we couldn’t hear her. Eventually she ventured up to our end of the table to get the order. The food, when it eventually arrived, was decent plain Mexican fare. Although for some reason my Carne Asana came with some green onions. Literally, it came with green onions. With all the greens and root still attached - no trimming at all. The waitress never did the legal obligation of asking us if the food was ok. In fact, we rarely saw her. We’re used to higher standards of service (and occasional drink refills). We will not be back.

We were regulars here for about 2 years, almost every Saturday. Mili was the best server ever and when he left it went down hill. We tried a few additional times and the service was horrendous. Each time we noticed the crowd was smaller and smaller. Waited over an hour for food and had to request refills. Not sure what happened but hoping they figure it out.
