Holy cow, be sure to go when you're hungry!! Portions are the BEST here! Prices are decent and the environment is laid back. We sat talking with my sister for nearly 2 hours and our server came by at just the right intervals to fill our drinks. A "beary" good place :)The "big daddy burger" or "daddy burger" wasn't on the menu, our server suggested it to my husband who was going to get the biggest burger on the menu and WOW---that was one big burger! My husband NEVER gets boxes (he always finishes his food), but he only ate half the giant!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quantity⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cleanliness of dining area⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cleanliness of restrooms (can only vouch for ladies')ONLY ITEM LESS THAN 5 STARS...⭐⭐⭐ their mild sausage patty isn't my favorite ;)

Everyone's food was delicious! The staff was helpful and all we encountered on a crazy mother's day were smiling. Highly recommend for the food and the experience.

I wish I could give it 10 stars. Where do I even begin?! The service was incredible. The guy who took our takeout order was from PA (I forget his name) he was so helpful and friendly! The food was ready within 8 minutes. We got chicken fried steak, eggs, grits, sourdough bread, and a western burger (photo below). It was cooked perfectly and the containers kept the food so warm until we got home. I definitely want more of these places around the country! The gift shop, don’t even get me started!!! Thanks guys!
Absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed french toast. Not too sweet but yummy. My husband had the sweet cream pancakes and they were so fluffy and delicious.
The staff were super nice and the food was good. I've had my share of bad experiences at other black bear locations (from flies to half cooked food, even 30 minutes said for drinks after being seated) so I believe it's more About which location you go to. That being said, we had a good breakfast and the server was more than kind. Just heads up on Sundays you likely will have a wait but that's literally every decent breakfast place, so just leave before your super hungry ?
Waited 15 minutes to get seated which wasn’t too bad but when our drinks came, two of us wore them. Our waitress stormed off and a different waitress had to get us towels. When we got our food my dad’s onion rings slipped off the plate in the kitchen and when they finally came out we were already done with our meal. We had to walk around the ice from the spilled drinks on the floor that were never picked up, along with trash from other tables. Cleanliness is definitely not a priority here. You’re better off eating somewhere else.
Been eating at BBD daily for over a year. We’re retired. The food is great. Try the sweet cream pancakes and waffles. Any dish you want they have it. The servers are the best around especially Kelly. She serves it up right and is the friendliest server. She is why we go back!
Food was great, staff is struggling. Lots of new people and nobody seemed to know the menu. One staff member admited that they had never even eaten there.**update**Staff is much better, great to see the improvements!
