The service can be hit and miss but this time it was horrible. The food usually makes up for the hit or miss service, but the overall food was not as good as it usually is. The Resteraunt wasnât even half full and it wasnât for a lack of workers it was our waitress. She rarely checked back on us for drinks or our food, served one of our diners a burned piece of salmon, after letting her know this is not acceptable could you please get another piece of salmon. We had to ask her about the status of the salmon after 15 minutes and when it came out we were all done with our dinners except the person that had salmon. She did remove from the bill, but the experience overall was not good, along with the other food not being as good as it usually is, I think we may not be back for awhile.
Reliable food and service.
Shrimp scampi, clams linguine, Sicilian, and gnocchi with basil - amazing! Kudos to the chefs! However, our server was overwhelmed with the number of tables he was handling on a Sunday evening, which appeared to be five tables. We finished our dinner and waited twenty minutes until we asked the manager to send our waiter to order dessert. He replied with a âyesâ and proceeded to stand in front of the kitchen to chat with the staff. Our poor server was was making coffee, behind the bar grabbing drinks, corking wine with no assistance from the manager or any other staff members. Itâs unfortunate as we were celebrating my sonâs 17th birthday and was hoping to top our meals with a few desserts and after dinner drinks. We waited an additional fifteen minutes until we asked the young lady cleaning our table for a couple to go containers and the check. Needless to say, the manager on duty could have made our experience much better if he would have been willing to lend a helping hand. Disappointed.

Definitely a surpriseâ¦. Driven by many times and we finally stopped in. So happy we did⦠the waiter was pleasant and helpful, the tapenade bread dip amazing, my fettuccine with chicken and our choc moose divine! Letâs not forget the Argentina Malbec! Yum!
Waiter missed a few things. steak was good but potatoes were bland and dry. seafood pastaâ¦not good. either the crab was overcooked or canned, flavorless, was supposed to be lemon cream sauceâ¦.not a hint of lemon, thin fishy sauce. I was really disappointed because its usually good, I have been going there for many years, even before the new building. was probably the worst meal i have had there just being honestâ¦..i like place and want to see it do well
I believe the night we went they were short staffed. I realize that is an issue these days. I still feel that the staff can make up for that by being personable. Our staff seemed to have no real desire to serve us or ensure our dining experience was good. They seemed to just want to get through the process of taking our order and dropping off our food, and this was after a fairly long wait with just water at the table. I also had an experience with open table where my reservation got changed from a table for 5 to a table for 3 inexplicably. I had to call, and to my surprise I was able to get a table for the time I wanted even though open table said there were no tables for that time. I like Toscanos and I'm sure this was just one of those nights, but I was disappointed since I was entertaining out of town family.
Food was OK, but service was not good. Very overpriced. Even though we had reservations we were put in a noisy, very open sitting. Parking was not good - paved parking area much too small had to park in dirt and gravel area.
Food was delicious! Hostess was awesome! Our server was ok, not the friendliest guy but did the job.
