I had to cancel my order as never received even 40 minutes after the original delivery window. I ordered well in advance to give them time to make it. Not sure what happened to this location, but it's gone down hill in terms of service. That does suck because the food was pretty decent. In any case, order elsewhere for delivery. You'll at least get your food.
I went on a whim the other day as I saw a sign out front saying, "all you can eat pizza". Lunch special. I never have written a restaurant review. So help me understand if this is simply inflation or I was taken to the cleaners? It cost $14.05 for all you can eat pizza and a drink. No salad bar included. The pizza they would get for you on a spinning rack. 3 choices, old dried pizza at gourmet prices. Felt like I should be dinning at a fancier place for $14 bucks and have fresh pizza with more then a few choices, and I'd think include the salad bar for that price. I ate 3 slices and left. I guess I felt robbed. Especially when I swear it was advertised less but I could be wrong.
We ordered takeout. Ashley took our order over the phone. She was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We ordered a Jumbo treasure island, regular cable car and an 8” cheese bread. The pizza was hot and fresh. Toppings were adequate and the sourdough crust was good. The cheese bread fell well below expectations. The pizza made up for some of the disappointment. Probably wouldn’t travel for this, but if I was close by I’d stop. The server that helped us at pickup was very friendly as well. He was chatty and cordial.
Amazing owner! Amazing food! They made my little down syndrome brother feel extra special on his birthday. I'm not even a sourdough fan and I loved this pizza. Definitely worth a visit!
Dropped in for a little impromptu family birthday party. We had a great time, ordered a lot of food, and desert. "Brad" comped our special guest with a desert pizza. All the staff was helpful and having fun. Several in my group had not been to SFSDP and were surprised and vowed to order online or return again.It doesn't get any better than this.
OUTSTANDING!! We got the spinach artichoke dip, the Tourist, and the Golden Gate. All delicious, all cooked perfectly, all order agains. The staff is so friendly, the store is clean and inviting, the entire experience was just what we were looking for. Can't wait for pizza night again.
Was in here the other day, great service. Brad the manager is so nice and welcoming. Love the new salad bar addition!!! The garlic bread sticks with garlic sauce is delicious!!!
Sour dough pizza is always good. Pier 49 has really good specialty pizza, we got the jumbo with 4 different specialties on it and they were all incredibly good. The chicken isn't rubbery like most other pizza places, so I would 100% come here again!
Quick delivery. Crust is sourdough and over all the pizza was good. Only problem is we ordered with pineapple and ham. Only got ham no pineapple. Good pizza just make sure nothing is missed. Called them on it and just got a sorry. Hate to knock them for missing items but that's what it's all about. Getting what you wanted. I've worked at many pizza places including Godfathers and managed Pizza hut and Domino's not to mention others and the Pier 49 shows promise. Might have to try again.
Great pizza, we ordered the Hawaiian bbq and it was good to the very last bite.It was one of the more expensive pizzas I have ever bought in my life, at $23 for a large, but one I ate it I knew I was getting what I paid for.The crust was thick and perfectly crisp.The toppings were not skimpy and they put on a good amount of sauce, which is always a plus. It didn’t get soggy with grease like a lot of pizzas so if they sit in the box for the drive home.They do pizza right.
