Loved it so good they were great. Although they were closed this morning when we tried to go back.
If you are looking for better than what you have at home, this isn't it.This has the common novelty of coffee and breakfast sides that you don't have to make yourself with a relaxed atmosphere (what matters most to some)This does not have coffee that is majorly different from what you can produce from a home coffee maker.
Pros: AmbianceCons: Cold Brew was genuinely horrible. I should have known when a girl brought up her cold brew, asked for a drip coffee, and asked them to throw away the untouched cold brew. I also tried their avocado toast and was very underwhelmed. It was equal parts bland and fishy (they add seaweed strips to the top). The flavor profile of avocado toast should not be described as Fishy and Bland.Overall, I'll be making a concerted effort to avoid La Barba.
Just a great local coffee spot with delicious coffee & great atmosphere...
La Barba has been playing the coffee game in SLC for years. I recently moved back to Utah from LA and for some reason had La Barba in my mind as one of the best roasters in SLC.Until I tried them. The bag of coffee beans I got from them tasted like stale, burnt sunflower seeds. I mail order beans from all over US - Ritual, Parlor, Blue Bottle, Olympia Coffee, etc. they are all better than La Barba.I’d go here for occasional espresso, but beans I’d go / order elsewhere for. There’s still plenty of room to improve.
Great and friendly staff. Coffee is pretty good and the gluten free raspberry shortbread is outstanding. Place is pleasant to work or hang out in.
Actually a great atmosphere and the staff is absolutely delightful! The Batista's are very helpful, nice and really fun to engage with, they know their menu and the area with good suggestions and adding a great experience to your visit. The coffee is good enough and they have conference rooms as well as plenty of space to hang out and work a bit.
Went here a couple of weeks ago.Pros:• Great drinks• Clean overall (including restrooms)• Cool indoor outdoor space for warmer months (glass panel garage door that opens)Cons:• Not the friendliest staff - I asked for recommendations and was given a "I don't know what you like." and left to choose.• Not a spot for long study sessions or working. uncomfortable seating and very few seats have outlets near them.
Chill vibe at this location. High-end flavor profiles. Staff is equally chill and very helpful. I go here for a smooth beautiful cup of coffee.
Coffee was very good, definitely could tell they use great quality beans & the interior of the cafe is cute. Staff is friendly.Definitely recommend this coffee shop if you’re in the area!
