Drive through for one salad was literally 35 minutes, and there were only about 4 cars ahead of us. And the price was higher than cafe Rio, so I probably won't be back for a long time. Just not with the wait. If they're going to have us wait for this long, they should throw in a free desert or drink or something. I understand the short staffing, but I'd recommend narrowing down the menu or something to be able to do more volume .
12300 South Street in Draper has every fast food joint imaginable, some national chains and some local establishments. Cubby's falls into the category of the latter. We were in town visiting family and decided to give it a try. My rating is just ok. I had the Tri-Tip with bacon and bleu cheese. I think I just expected something better. They have a pretty extensive selection of hamburgers, but with an In-'N-Out just across the parking lot...?
The food was amazing! I got the 3 cheese grilled cheese and my wife got the steak salad. We got both the regular and sweet potato fries.The service however was chaotic and unresponsive. The guy at the register looked at me like he didn’t understand a word I said. Perhaps they’ll be better trained once the location has been around longer.
The fries and sauce were so yummy! The salad I got was nothing special and it took a long time for them to bring it out to me. I figured that they had forgotten about me. Meanwhile, the rest of my friends had their orders so It was awkward while we waited for mine. Thing is, the place hardly had any patrons so I'm not sure what the deal was. I thought the salad would have been bigger too. I was also surprised that it came out in a to-go container. At least that container was eco-friendly. I'm not sure if I would go back. My friends say that they love going there though.
Went to Cubby's for the first time tonight. The Houdini Burger was superb and the Rosemary Fries delicious. Line at the drive-thru was very long, and didn't move super-fast, but everything there is cooked to order, and the freshness was evident. I will definitely be returning.

Cubby's is a chain restaurant that has a fast food feel yet everything is made to order so it takes linger than fast food. They are known for their burgers and organic options, along with a few other menu items. The prices here are extremely high for the portion size but it definitely makes us in flavor. Their burgers are cooked just right, their Mac n cheese is pretty creamy, and their fries are crunchy.
It's such a love hate relationship with Cubbys. They changed fry containers so you get significantly less, the salad dressing container is barely half full, their prices have gone up and now they awkwardly ask for a tip at the drive thru. ?
I've been conflicted about this place for a while, but unfortunately, I won't be going back. We ordered 2 1/2 salads and an order of fries. After 25 minutes in the sruve thru and paying $26 for the above, I couldn't believe what we got foe the money. My 1/2 salad had 2 grades, maybe a 1/4 teaspoon of Bleu cheese, and maybe 3 thin slices of apple. The food wasn't any better than Wendy's and more than double the price. Sorry to say I am done
Under staffed so the drive through was closed and it took forever to get my food. So minus one star. But delicious as always! We got the lemon chicken and tri tip salads with some Buffalo fries. Soooo good!
