In general we love Cafe Zupas and religiously frequent their other locations in the valley when we're in town. Love their fresh menu and often get a sandwich with a half salad. Great combination, and I always end up overeating by the time I finish the roll (that comes with the salad) and the chocolate covered strawberry (that comes with each meal/combo). Zupas itself is a 5/5. That said, we tried this location for the first time recently and it was the first time we've ever been disappointed. I made it half way through my salad before I realized that all the dishes our food was served on was covered in a reddish film that was easily being scratched off by our utensils while we ate. It was clear that the dish washing practices at this location, at least on the day we visited, was sorely inadequate. Made my stomach turn a little and, quite honestly, we'll probably pass on the Zupas the next few trips we take to the area. Love the food, but the dirty dishes in this last trip really ruined an otherwise pristine experience.

This location was great. The place was nice and clean and the employees provided great customer service. I got there mango salad, which surprisingly, I loved because I usually don't like fruit in my green salad. There sandwiches were delicious too.

First time visit and Jon suggested a few things right away so I just asked him to order for me. He set me up with a delicious chicken sandwich and side salad. Loved how he took over and the food was fresh and fantastic!

All I’m saying is am not a fan of the takeout containers. Taints the whole experience for me. Also my protein bowl was 90% giant pieces of lettuce. Would have appreciated bite size pieces and even mixed with a better ratio of food to lettuce combination in a different container!!

Customer Service is a fine line. Unfortunately too many people abuse this to gain for themselves, AND usually at the price of the business which is NOT OK. BUT .... treating customers respectfully is ALWAYS the RIGHT thing to do.Tonight my son went to Draper Zupa's to pick up food for our family, 8 different orders that he stood in line to order and bring home for us. As you know they generally provide a roll and a chocolate covered strawberry with each order. Well our 8 orders only received 3 rolls and 3 strawberries. I decided to call Draper to let them know of my disappointment and was basically told they didn't believe me, because she couldn't find the order? Which she assumed was an online or call ahead order. She even said she knew that it didn't happen because SHE was the one packing that had packed the orders at the specific time. I had the receipt in my hand with the exact time, amount and order id#, that I offered her twice. She finally took the order # and said it didn't exist. Well it did I had the receipt in hand. It wasn't a call in order.... but she automatically assumed it was and continued to insinuate I was lying. I was then put on hold (which was really just the phone being set down on the counter, I could hear everyone around the phone) The manager came over and they discussed my situation (of which I could hear the annoyance in the employees voice as she explained the situation to the manager, as though I was lying) he told her to tell me that they are actually a complimentary item and wouldn't reimburse me (which I NEVER asked for) but if I wanted to come back (40 min round trip) I was welcome to come get the strawberries. She came back on to repeat what he said to her. She said I could come back and get them.... I asked how they would know I was picking up the strawberries due to an error in the order. She said she would put my name at the register? I decided to call to just let them know they have an opportunity to do some training and let them know a customer was disappointed ... instead it was a NEGATIVE response to which I felt I was being accused of lying and being dishonest. Very disappointing and since the Lehi is the same distance from us they will now become our go to store instead.

The catering was great and right on time. Ellie the Manager was great she called after we had lunch just to make sure everything went well. Soups were hot on arrival, Salad was nice and fresh, and the sandwiches were great!

For my first time trying a Zupas, I can honestly say that it exceeded my high expectations. It’s a clean orderly place, and the food was great. For anyone who hasn’t tried this place out I would recommend it 10/10. I will be coming back often.

This is a great option for people with some time, and also for people looking for a faster quality lunch experience. There is no table service here. You order your food at the counter and literally watch while they prepare your salad or soup or sandwich. The food here is not inexpensive, but they have a great deal called the "take 2" option. You can select one of their hot or cold sandwiches and a half bowl of soup or half salad for about $11. Finding seating after your order is completed is usually not a problem. They clean and turn the dining areas fairly quickly, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. All of the accessories to dining, such as utensils cups and condiments are readily available without having to go back to the checkout line. The food is prepared very well here. But I might say that the average man might find the portions slightly on the lacking side and looking for a little more.

This is the ONLY location where I can buy my clam chowder soup, and it has been perfect every time. I am told I owe this thank you to Honorina who has been making the soup there for over a decade. Thank you Honorina for always getting it right for us, and being so great at what you do - it has made a big difference to us!

Some employees is just nasty, they don’t care for the quality of the food they serve, they just care to be faster and charge a ridiculous price, this picture is a pic of my Chipotle salad that I just got it with a bad avocado and tomatoes.
