The Tacos Al Pastor served on Friday Saturday and Sunday are my favorite. They make some great street style tacos and large portion burritos.
Okay, for what it is, it really isn’t a bad joint. It’s like a nicer more authentic feeling than a Beto’s or Rancherito’s. They had multiple different sauces that I’d hope are homemade, and the carrots that kick too. I noticed they are open every day, and late as well, they would be good for a hungover or late night eat. I got the mini tacos and they weren’t phenomenal but for the price I will go again.
I was so hungry when we got to Tacos El Jefe, I ordered Carne Asada Fries to share and the Carnitas Plate! We also ordered several Carnitas Burritos. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The salsa options are also great. I loved the carrots, onions, jalapeños, and radishes too! The service was friendly and fast and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We will definitely go back. Thus place was awesome! I'm from Southern California where there is alot of authentic Mexican food. This place had some of the best asada I've had in awhile! The chips were fresh and salsa and guacamole was delicious ?. Loved it
We are from out of state and this place was recommended to us by a couple of hospital staff when I ended up in the ER. They both said it was "the best food in Cedar" The burrito had more pico in the middle than I cared for, but the flavor was good and we both enjoyed the tacos. I especially liked the amount of cilantro as well as their spicy salsa. Really good!
This place was recommended to us so as we passed through Cedar City we decided to stop.The staff are friendly and the establishment was clean and delightfully decorated and it is located just 2 minutes from the interstate.The food is cooked fresh and the service was fast. The portion size was generous which was exactly what we wanteded. They have a salsa counter to the side with various types of sauces to choose from to accompany your meal. This salsa/sauce is for free.For a novice with regard to ordering Mexican take out food I really enjoyed it and would recommend Tacos El Jefe to anyone passing by Cedar City!
Just driving through Cedar City and wanted something different than the regular fast foods. TACOS EL JEFFE did NOT disappoint!! So yummy. Definitely going back. Authentic and tasty! The Salsa bar with Pickled veggies was great.
Late late night dinner ready in less than 10 minutes. Ordered a chimichanga and chips we're prepared in such a way that when I got home, they were still crisp and hot. Excellent chimicanga packed with meat. Thank you.To the first like, may God bless you, appreciate the encouragement.
I could eat Al Pastor street tacos and horchata from Tacos El Jefe for every meal. Everything else on the menu looks fantastic, but every time I go in expecting to order something new, I just get a whole bunch of tacos.There is no marriage problem that cannot be fixed by Tacos El Jefe. Tacos El Jefe has become one of my go-to places to eat in Cedar City! Their food is great, especially their chimichangas. It is also a great price and open late.The staff is also very friendly and they get the food out quickly!
